Happy Halloween! October has been yet another month of non-stop events for me but it has been a lot of fun. I turned 23 this month, did a lot of work on my house, began hosting my first ever readathon with friends and managed to read 16 books. So much has happened this month, this is what happened in October!
I have no idea how it is the end of October already. I'm baffled by how it is near to the end of the year. I am back with another what I read this month posts! Throughout October I somehow managed to read a grand total of 15 books, so it has been an absolutely excellent reading month for me! I have a lot of thoughts I want to share on the books that I read in October, so I'm going to do mini reviews for a couple, mention others and declare my love for a few! Here is what I read in October!
There are so many beautiful book covers out there in the world and there are so many that I would love to frame and display on the walls in my house. Some because they are absolutely beautiful and others because of the sentimentality of the books themselves. Here are some books I'd love to put in a picture frame!
If you follow me on either Twitter or Instagram, then you've probably seen me and also The Little Contemporary Corner post a lot about the Crime Readathon we are co-hosting! Well, that readathon is starting TODAY and is continuing until midnight on the 8th November! I'm so excited to begin and thought this post would be the perfect little reminder about what is going on.
Back in June I shared what was on my Netgalley shelf. Since then I made my way through what was on there and have added even more to it. There has been a number of amazing books on my Netgalley shelf over the years and I currently have it down to just 4 books! Here is what is currently on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!
From the 25th October to the 8th November 2020 the lovely Sarah and Sophie of The Little Contemporary Corner and I will be hosting the Crime Readathon! For 2 weeks we will be turning our reading time into reading crime. Today, I wanted to share with you my TBR for the Crime Readathon. If I read all the books on my TBR it will be a miracle but I will try. Here is my TBR for the Crime Readathon!
I am back once again with another post about new books that are being released very soon that I am excited about! I love finding out about new books to read soon and get so excited for them to be released. There are a lot of incredible books coming out in November and I cannot wait to read them all! Here are all the November 2020 releases I am excited for!
Becks is into girls but didn't come out because she was never in. She lives with her mum, stepdad and eighteen-year-old Silva, her stepdad's daugther. Becks and Silva are opposites, but bond over their mutual obsession with K-Pop.
Every now and then I enjoy sharing something I have designed (even if it isn't that good). Sometimes I do my graphic designs on Canva and other times I do it in the design software that I own. I was messing around with the things available on Canva recently and I came up with this! Here is my little quote poster for a quote from Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow!
Between 25th October and 8th November the wonderful Sarah and Sophie from The Little Contemporary Corner and I will be hosting the Crime Readathon!
