Books I Have on Pre-Order! – Part Two

A couple of days ago I shared a post that included some of the books that I have pre-ordered! You can check that post out here. Today, I am going to share the remaining books that I currently have on pre-order! I love it when I get books to my doorstep, they are like future presents to myself.

Here is part two of books I have on pre-order!

Meet Cute Diary by Emery Lee

Noah Ramirez thinks he’s an expert on romance. He has to be for his popular blog, the Meet Cute Diary, a collection of trans happily ever afters. There’s just one problem—all the stories are fake. What started as the fantasies of a trans boy afraid to step out of the closet has grown into a beacon of hope for trans readers across the globe.

When a troll exposes the blog as fiction, Noah’s world unravels. The only way to save the Diary is to convince everyone that the stories are true, but he doesn’t have any proof. Then Drew walks into Noah’s life, and the pieces fall into place: Drew is willing to fake-date Noah to save the Diary. But when Noah’s feelings grow beyond their staged romance, he realizes that dating in real life isn’t quite the same as finding love on the page.

Another fake dating book that I have been drawn into the hype for, which I’m sure is all well deserved hype! This one is meant to be absolutely incredible and I cannot wait to give it a read. It has meet cutes, hate to love, fake dating, friends to lover and even more and this is right up my street. I cannot wait to have this one in my hands because I know I will sit down it will immediately and not want to put it down! I’m so excited for this one.

A Pho Love Story by Loan Le

If Bao Nguyen had to describe himself, he’d say he was a rock. Steady and strong, but not particularly interesting. His grades are average, his social status unremarkable. He works at his parents’ pho restaurant, and even there, he is his parents’ fifth favorite employee. Not ideal.

If Linh Mai had to describe herself, she’d say she was a firecracker. Stable when unlit, but full of potential for joy and fire. She loves art and dreams pursuing a career in it. The only problem? Her parents rely on her in ways they’re not willing to admit, including working practically full-time at her family’s pho restaurant.

For years, the Mais and the Nguyens have been at odds, having owned competing, neighboring pho restaurants. Bao and Linh, who’ve avoided each other for most of their lives, both suspect that the feud stems from feelings much deeper than friendly competition.

But then a chance encounter brings Linh and Bao in the same vicinity despite their best efforts and sparks fly, leading them both to wonder what took so long for them to connect. But then, of course, they immediately remember.

I love a story that has romance and food and this one has just that! This is a book I’ve had pre-ordered for months and I am so excited to read. Its release date keeps being pushed back so make sure you keep an eye on that because I know I am. But, whenever this book arrives at my door I will be reading it straight away that is for sure!

Afterlove by Tanya Byrne

Ash Persaud is about to become a reaper in the afterlife, but she is determined to see her first love Poppy Morgan again, the only thing that separates them is death.

Car headlights.

The last thing Ash hears is the snap of breaking glass as the windscreen hits her and breaks into a million pieces like stars.

But she made it, she’s still here. Or is she?

This New Year’s Eve, Ash is gets an RSVP from the afterlife she can’t decline: to join a clan of fierce girl reapers who take the souls of the city’s dead to await their fate.

But Ash can’t forget her first love, Poppy, and she will do anything to see her again … even if it means they only get a few more days together. Dead or alive …

This book has been talked about non-stop on the internet ever since it was announced and I am sure for all the right reasons. It sounds so intriguing and I am looking forward to seeing what I think about it. I’ve seen so many rave reviews about this book and they make me even more exciting to read it. I will be reading it as soon as I can!

Love and Other Natural Disasters by Misa Sugiura

When Nozomi Nagai pictured the ideal summer romance, a fake one wasn’t what she had in mind.

That was before she met the perfect girl. Willow is gorgeous, glamorous, and…heartbroken? And when she enlists Nozomi to pose as her new girlfriend to make her ex jealous, Nozomi is a willing volunteer.

Because Nozomi has a master plan of her own: one to show Willow she’s better than a stand-in, and turn their fauxmance into something real. But as the lies pile up, it’s not long before Nozomi’s schemes take a turn toward disaster…and maybe a chance at love she didn’t plan for.

I’ve read a book by Misa Sugiura and I own another and I am now so excited for a third book by them! I have had this on pre-order fo a while so of course I am incredibly excited to read this one as soon as I can! Also can we just talk about how gorgeous the cover is.
