I am back once again with another book haul. This time the book haul is quite small! Last month my haul consisted of 17 books this month it consists of just 6. At least my bank account is a bit happier this month.
This haul consists of a few pre-orders and some presents for myself! Here is my July book haul!

July started with a pre-order arriving incredibly early! This was my pre-order of Up All Night by Up All Night by Kayla Whaley, Amanda Joy, Laura Silverman, Tiffany D. Jackson, Anna Meriano, Karen M. McManus, Francesca Zappia, Julian Winters, Kathleen Glasgow, Marieke NijKamp, Brandy Colbert, Maureen Goo and Nina LaCour. I read this one over the course of 13 days. I read one story each night and I throughly enjoyed it!
Next up, my pre-order of Jay’s Gay Agenda by Jason June arrived! I have just starting reading this one and I am enjoying it so will be sharing my thoughts with you all soon, hopefully!
Then, I saw a copy of Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell with its gorgeous sprayed edges in my local Waterstones and I could not walk away without a copy. I have yet to read the whole series but I have it on good authority that I will love it, so I cannot wait to read this series!
Towards the end of the month, two more of my pre-orders arrived at my doors. These were, Love & Other Natural Disasters by Misa Sugiura, which I am beyond excited to read. It has been on my radar for such a long time and I cannot wait to read it. Also, This Is My Truth by Yasmin Rahman, which blew me away. It was such an extraordinary book and if you haven’t read any books by Yasmin yet then I cannot recommend her enough!
Last but not least, I treat myself to a copy of How to Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie which I am really looking forward to reading. I’m sure it is going to be one of those books that I read in a few sittings!
Overall, I ended the month with 6 more physical books than I started it with. I’ve read 2 of them so far and I am half-way through a third, which is not too bad. I’m hoping to read some of the others in August!

What books did you buy in July and what books are you excited for in August? Let me know in the comments!

That looks a very pretty collection of books – the colours are all very summery! I’ve surprised myself by not buying any books this month although I have placed a couple of pre-orders. I think I’m trying to be careful because I have absolutely no shelf space left for new books!
