What’s On My Netgalley TBR?

I spend so much of my time looking for new things to request on Netgalley, which always means my Netgalley TBR is never-ending.I love talking about the books that I am excited about reading because it makes me even more excited to read them. There have been so many amazing books on my Netgalley shelf over the years and it is a place that I’ve found so many new authors and books. Here are just a few things currently on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!

The Girl Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh

For generations, deadly storms have ravaged Mina’s homeland. Her people believe the Sea God, once their protector, now curse them with death and despair. To appease him, each year a maiden is thrown into the sea, in the hopes that one day the ‘true bride’ will be chosen and end the suffering.

Many believe Shim Cheong – Mina’s brother’s beloved – to be the legendary true bride. But on the night Cheong is sacrificed, Mina’s brother follows her, even knowing that to interfere is a death sentence. To save her brother, Mina throws herself into the water in Cheong’s stead.

Swept away to the Spirit Realm, a magical city of lesser gods and mythical beasts, Mina finds the Sea God, trapped in an enchanted sleep. With the help of a mysterious young man and a motley crew of demons, gods and spirits, Mina sets out to wake him and bring an end to the storms once and for all.

But she doesn’t have much time: a human cannot live long in the land of the spirits. And there are those who would do anything to keep the Sea God from waking . . .

This book is getting a whole bunch of hype across the internet at the moment. That of course means I want to bump it right up my TBR. So, I am planning on reading this one as soon as I finish my current eBook. I cannot wait to share my thoughts. Also, I cannot stop staring at this cover.

All the Feels by Olivia Dade

Alexander Woodroe has it all. Charm. Wealth. A starring role on the biggest show on TV. But the showrunners have wrecked his character, he’s hounded by old demons and his future remains uncertain. When all that reckless emotion explodes into a bar fight, the tabloids and public agree: his star is falling.

Enter Lauren, the former therapist hired to keep him in line. Compared to her previous work, watching over a handsome but impulsive actor shouldn’t be especially difficult. But the more time she spends with Alex, the harder it is to hold on to her professionalism, and her heart . . .

When another scandal lands him in major hot water, and costs Lauren her job, Alex becomes determined to keep his impossibly stubborn and extremely endearing minder in his life any way he can. On a road trip up the California coast together, he intends to show her exactly what a falling star will do to catch the woman he loves . . .

I’ve had this one of my TBR on Netgalley for such a long time but just haven’t got round to reading it. I’ve heard some amazing things about this book but then also some mixed reviews. So, I am looking forward to picking it up and seeing what I think about it. This will be my next romance pick!

If This Gets Out by Sophie Gonzales and Cale Dietrich

Eighteen-year-olds Ruben Montez and Zach Knight are two members of the boy-band Saturday, one of the biggest acts in America. Along with their bandmates, Angel Phan and Jon Braxton, the four are teen heartthrobs in front of the cameras and best friends backstage.

But privately, the pressure to stay in the closet has Ruben confiding in Zach.

On a whirlwind tour through Europe with an unrelenting schedule and minimal supervision, the two come to rely on each other more and more, and their already close friendship evolves into a romance. But when they decide they’re ready to tell their fans and live freely, Zach and Ruben realize they will never truly have the support they need.

How can they hold tight to each other when their whole world is coming apart?

I’m reading this at the minute and absolutely loving it. Within the first chapter I wanted to dedicate all my time to reading this book. I cannot wait to see where the story goes and I cannot wait to share my thoughts on the full thing!

There you have it, some of the things that are on my Netgalley shelf/TBR at the minute! What have you got on your Netgalley shelf and what are you excited to read? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Reading
