January Book Haul!

I can’t quite that this haul is this small. When I was taking the pictures of January’s haul I kept thinking that I’d missed books but this haul is only 9 books! I feel that is quite subdued for me. This haul consists of pre-orders, presents for myself and a gift from publishers. Here is my January book haul!

I started January with a few of my pre-orders arriving at my house. There were The Sad Ghost Club, Vol. 2 by Lize Meddings, The Revelry by Katherine Webber and If This Gets Out by Sophie Gonzales and Cale Dietrich. I read each of these almost immediately after they arrived and loved them all, each for different reasons, but I would highly recommend them all.

Then, on a day out, I called into a book store and picked up a couple of books from there. I picked up Writers & Lovers by Lily King which has been on my radar for a while now so I picked that up in the hopes I read it very soon. Also, I picked up Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson after seeing it won the Costa Fiction Award. It has so many amazing reviews as well so I want to see what I think about this one.

I was gifted a book by the lovely Harper360 this month. They sent me a copy of Lulu and Milagro’s Search for Clarity by Angela Velez. I’m really looking forward to giving this one a read and seeing what I think!

At the end of the month my last January pre-orders arrived. They were Loveboat Reunion by Abigail Hing Wen which I am reading at the minute and enjoying a lot. also, the new English edition of One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I am beyond excited to read this one. As I only had one more Taylor Jenkins Reid book to own, I treated myself to a copy of Forever, Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which means my TJR collection is complete!

Overall, the month ended with me owning 9 more books than I did at the start!

What books did you buy in January and what books are you excited for in February? Let me know in the comments!
