I have managed to control myself this month when it comes to requesting books on Netgalley. I want to finally make my way through all the books I have on there and get my ratio back up. I started writing these posts to show what was on my Netgalley TBR and to hold myself accountable when it comes to reading them. So, here are the books on my Netgalley TBR / shelf at the moment!

Hotel 21 by Senta Rich
Noelle is an efficient and friendly hotel cleaner, a model employee. Or so she’d have you think. The trouble is that she can’t help taking a little ‘souvenir’ as she cleans. Nothing of value, just tokens of happy, normal lives: a lipstick, a hair clip, some tweezers. And by the time the guest has noticed, she’s long gone.
As she starts at her 21st hotel, she’s determined to beat her record of one month in a five star hotel before suspicion falls on her. But when she meets her new colleagues, her plans are complicated. These women aren’t just hands pushing carts down lonely hotel corridors: they are women with lives full of happiness and worry, pain and joy. The kind of lives Noelle has never known how to live. They make her wonder what it might be like to have real friends, people to stick around for…
Will the women at Hotel 21 give her the courage to claim the life she deserves, or will her old habits come back to haunt her?

I’m intrigued to see what this one is all about. It seems like it is going to be a character-driven novel and I’m a reader who tends to focus on characters immediately, so I’m sure this one will be excellent. I’m looking forward to picking it up and seeing what I think.

The Love Wager by Lynn Painter
After yet another disastrous date, Hallie Piper decides it’s time to grow up.
She gets a new apartment, a new haircut, and a new wardrobe. But when she logs into an app to find new love, she matches with none other than Jack: the guy the wrong kind of sparks had flown with just weeks earlier.
Agreeing that they are absolutely not interested in each other, Jack and Hallie realise that they’re each other’s perfect wing-person – and join forces in their searches for The One. They even place a wager on who can find romance first.
But when they agree to be fake dates for a wedding, all bets are off.
Because as they pretend to be a couple, they struggle to remember why dating for real was a bad idea to begin with . . .

I’m reading this one at the moment and I’m enjoying it so far. I’ve enjoyed all the books by Lynn Painter I’ve read in the past so I’m sure that will be the case with this one too. I’ve seen some amazing reviews for it already and I can’t wait to share my thoughts about it.

Business or Pleasure by Rachel Lynn Solomon
Chandler Cohen lies for a living.
When she accepts her next ghostwriting gig penning a memoir for cult actor Finnegan Walsh, it should be a dream job.
However, Chandler knows him best as something else: her worst-ever one-night stand . . .
She’s determined to keep things professional. But when she finally admits to Finn that their night together wasn’t as mind-blowing as he thought, he’s mortified, and determined to make amends.
So, they strike a deal. During the day, they’ll work on the book, and at night, she’ll school him in the art of satisfaction.
As they grow closer, the line between business and pleasure starts to blur.
Can Chandler and Finn have both, or will they have to choose?

I’m so excited to have a new Rachel Lynn Solomon book in my life! Her books are always fun to read and none have let me down yet. This one has been getting some excellent reviews online so I’m looking forward to seeing what I think of it.
