The Last Ten Books Tag

I love doing a good book tag post. I feel like they immediately open a whole bunch of discussions around the questions asked in the tag. So, when I saw the Last Ten Books tag on Frappes and Fiction, I wanted to give it a go immediately. Here is the Last Ten Books tag!

Last book I bought

That would be The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren which I bought in preparation for reading it on my holiday this month!

Last book I re-read

I re-read Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid earlier on this year after watching the TV series and being completely obsessed all over again! I’d happily re-read again this year too.

Last book I said I read but didn’t

I don’t think I’ve ever done this, at least not in recent years. I did once lie about reading a classic to one of my school librarians but that was because she wouldn’t let me take out another book otherwise.

Last book I wrote in the margins of

I’ll have to go back to school for this one as well. It was Animal Farm by George Orwell for my GCSEs. I never write in books normally but we had to for my GCSEs.

Last book I got signed

That would be my signed exclusive edition of Happy Place by Emily Henry. It is beautiful and has stunning sprayed edges and I love it a lot.

Last book I gave up on

I’m not someone who typically DNFs books as once I get at least 50 pages into it I want to finish it. So, I’m really not sure what the last book I gave up on was but it wasn’t anything recently.

Last book I lost

I thought I lost my copy of Beartown by Fredrik Backman but it turns out I had let my Mum borrow it as she was looking to give it a read.

Last book I had to replace

I had to buy a replacement copy of Looking For Alaska by John Green. My original copy was so damaged from carrying it around for a long time and using the last page to press some flowers. So, I got myself a lovely fresh copy.

Last book I argued over

I don’t think I’ve ever argued over a book. I’ve shared my dislike for certain authors with people and we’ve got into a discussion about why they like them and I don’t but it has never turned into an argument.

Last book I couldn’t find

I couldn’t find my copy of It’s Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han for a couple of months. I’d put it on a shelf behind another book and found it when tidying my shelves recently though!

There you have it, the Last Ten Books tag! What was the last book you bought? Let me know in the comment below!
