September has completely flown by. I can't believe we are getting towards the end of 2023. This month has been a busy one. I've bought a lot of concert tickets, been on days out and visited the zoo. Here is what happened in September!
Month: September 2023
What I Read in September!
September has been a very good reading month for me. I've read 11 books throughout September. So, I am back with another what I've read this month post. In this post, you will find a bunch of mini-reviews for the books I read in September. Here they are!
You With a View by Jessica Joyce – Quote
I recently finished reading You With a View by Jessica Joyce and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a cute, quick read with some excellent characters. There are so many good quotes throughout the book. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.
Autumn Book Tag
Autumn is officially here. It is my favourite season of the year because everything gets that little bit colder, cosier and I love watching all the leaves change colour. I spotted the Autumn book tag on ZeZeewithBooks and thought it would be perfect to start Autumn with. Here it is!
Currently I’m…
I am always intrigued by what other people are reading, watching and listening to. It is always a good way to learn more about other people and to get some recommendations at the same time. So, I started doing the ‘Currently I’m…‘ posts to share my current reads, watches and what I’m listening to with other people who are just as curious as I am. Here is what I am currently reading, watching and listening to.
Autumn Book Recommendations
The weather has certainly turned Autumnal where I live and it has made me want to read cosy books. So, I looked back on books I've read over the past year that have had 'Autumnal vibes' and I thought I would share some I would highly recommend. Here are some Autumn book recommendations!
What’s On My Netgalley TBR?
It has been another month where I've been good and only requested a couple of books on Netgalley. My aim for the end of the year is to have my feedback ratio back at 100%. I'm hoping that is not too ambitious.
The Brother’s Hawthorne by Jennifer Lynn Barnes – Quote
Very recently I finished reading The Brothers Hawthorne by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, the latest instalment in The Inheritance Games series. I loved it and cannot wait for the next book in the series. There are so many good quotes throughout the book. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.
New Releases I’m Excited For – October
There are a lot of new books coming out in October. I wanted to share the ones that I am the most excited about in this post. So, here are the new book releases I’m excited for in October!
The Nanny – Lana Ferguson
The Nanny exceeded all of my expectations! It is a spicy, entertaining and addictive contemporary romance that I couldn’t put down. This book moves at a quick pace and is so easy to get caught up in almost instantly. It is a dual POV but mainly centres around Cassie’s narrative. The dual POVs allow us to see the incredible chemistry and tension between Cassie and Aiden.
