August Book Haul!

Now that September is here, we are into the last four months of 2023. So, I am back with another book haul. This one consists of 12 books. Some were gifted by publishers and others I’ve picked up on days out. Here is my August book haul.

On a day out with friends at the beginning of the month I picked up three books by Christina Lauren which I was yet to own. They were Roomies, My Favourite Half-Night Stand and Dating You, Hating You. I love the work of Christina Lauren so I cannot wait to read these.

I was lucky enough to be gifted a few books by publishers this month. Little Brown Books gifted me a copy of The Nanny by Lana Ferguson which I will be reading very soon. Harper360 gifted me a couple of books. They were Kween by Vichet Chum and Those Pink Mountain Nights by Jen Ferguson both of which sound wonderful.

On one of my trips into town this month, I picked up four books. I was trying my best not to pick up any but I couldn’t leave without these. They were, An Echo in the City by K.X. Song, Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa, Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan and Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams. I cannot wait to read all of these!

Finally, on my trip to Oxford I picked up a couple of books. They were Mixed Signals by B.K Borison which I am hoping to read very soon and Diary of a Void by Emi Yagi which sounds incredibly interesting.

So, I ended the month with 12 more books than I began it with. Thank you so much to the publishers who gifted some of the books included in this haul!

What books did you get in August and what books are you excited about in September? Let me know in the comments!
