What’s On My Netgalley TBR?

It has been another month where I’ve been good and only requested a couple of books on Netgalley. My aim for the end of the year is to have my feedback ratio back at 100%. I’m hoping that is not too ambitious.

I started writing these posts to show what was on my Netgalley TBR and to hold myself accountable when it comes to reading them. So, here are some of the books on my Netgalley TBR / shelf at the moment!

Annalise Sherwood has worked herself to the bone to win a place on a prestigious internship, and nothing is going to stop her now. Work hard, play later – that’s her motto. She figures one night out before she starts the programme can’t hurt, though – especially when it ends with the best kiss of her life.

But to Anna’s horror, the mystery guy she kissed that night is none other than Lloyd, the boss’s son. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he’s everyone’s favourite guy and a total charmer, swanning around like he owns the place. And from the moment they meet again, he rubs Anna up the wrong way.

As the summer – and the internship – progresses, Lloyd seems to be finding any excuse to annoy Anna, and she’s not afraid to dish it right back. But when a lot of late night working brings them unexpectedly closer, she begins to wonder if romance might be on the agenda after all . . .

I’ve loved the books by Beth Reekles that I have read in the past so I am excited to read another book by her. I’ve seen a lot about this one online recently and it has made me even more excited to read it. I’m looking forward to seeing how the romance will play out between the characters too.

The moment Eva locked eyes with James over a library bookshelf, she knew she’d found her soulmate. Over ten years, they fell in love, got married and made plans to start a family. Until everything changed one Christmas three years ago, and they’ve been drifting apart ever since.

Eva hopes a friend’s Christmas party at an old manor house in Cornwall will give them the chance to reconnect… but the last thing she expects is to wake up on Christmas morning in the body of a different guest. As Eva’s forced to keep reliving Christmas Day from the perspectives of those closest to her, she realises just how much her life has fallen off track.

But can Eva break the cycle and save her future with James, before it’s too late?

I actually read this one right at the end of last year but because Christmas had already past I didn’t want to write and post a review about it going into the new year. So, I am planning on re-reading this one at the start of December and sharing my review. I remember loving it last time so I’m excited to read it again.

PhD candidate Phoebe Walsh has always been obsessed with true crime. She’s even analysing the genre in her dissertation – if she can manage to finish writing it. It’s hard to find the time while she spends the summer in Florida, cleaning out her childhood home, dealing with her obnoxiously good-natured younger brother, and grappling with the complicated feelings of mourning a father she hadn’t had a relationship with for years.

It doesn’t help that she’s low-key convinced that her new neighbour, Sam Dennings, is a serial killer (he may dress business casual by day, but at night he’s clearly up to something). But it’s not long before Phoebe realises that Sam might be something much scarier – a genuinely nice guy who can pierce her armour to reach her vulnerable heart.

I started this one a little while ago but put it down and I’m not 100% sure why. So, I am hoping to pick this one up as we head towards autumn. I feel like it will be the perfect romance book for autumn and I’m looking forward to giving it another try.

There you have it, some of the books that are on my Netgalley shelf/TBR at the minute! What have you got on your Netgalley shelf and what are you excited to read? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Reading
