October has gone by in the blink of an eye. I can’t believe how close we are to the end of 2023. It has been another busy month. I turned 26, went on holiday, did a lot of crafts and read a lot. Here is what happened in October.

I read 10 books throughout October which I’m very happy with. I enjoyed all the books I read this month, just some more than others. October has been another month full of blogging. I’m still managing to keep to my schedule and blogging is bringing me a lot of joy. I wanted to share the top 5 posts I’ve enjoyed writing in October.
- New Releases I’m Excited For – November
- Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa – Quote
- Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams – Quote
- Books I’ll Probably Never Read Tag
- September Book Haul!

I started October by turning 26 and spent a full week celebrating. Me and my husband spent some time in a couple of cities close by to us which was lovely and relaxing. Then, me and my best friends spent a weekend in Amsterdam. It was such a lovely few days spent exploring the city and eating delicious food. I am definitely going to go back soon.
A lot of spare time this month has been spent building the little model bookshop that my sister Katie and her boyfriend Tom got me for my birthday. Me and my husband have spent time making the tiny furniture and tiny books. It has been so much fun. We aren’t even halfway through it yet either.
We did more home decorating this month and have hopefully picked out our living room carpet which is exciting. I cannot wait to have a fully decorated living room. It is going to be so cosy!
We also did our usual tradition before Halloween of carving pumpkins and watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline which was a lot of fun.
October has been a wonderful month. I’ve enjoyed celebrating and spending time relaxing. I’m looking forward to what November brings!

That is it, October is almost over. I cannot wait to see what November holds. What has October been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
