Like most readers, my Christmas wish list is full of books. I love getting books as gifts each year. I know it feels a little early to be thinking about Christmas but I started my Christmas shopping today, so it go me think about books on my wish list. I wanted to share some of the books on there with you.
Here are the books on my Christmas wish list this year!

Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop by Hwang Bo-reum
Yeongju did everything she was supposed to, go to university, marry a decent man, get a respectable job. Then it all fell apart. Burned out, Yeongju abandons her old life, quits her high-flying career, and follows her dream. She opens a bookshop.
In a quaint neighbourhood in Seoul, surrounded by books, Yeongju and her customers take refuge. From the lonely barista to the unhappily married coffee roaster, and the writer who sees something special in Yeongju – they all have disappointments in their past. The Hyunam-dong Bookshop becomes the place where they all learn how to truly live.

I’ve been seeing this one in shops a lot recently and it keeps catching my eye. I love books that centre around a bookshop for so many reason. They always make me feel warm and cosy. I’m excited to hopefully give this one a read.
10 Things That Never Happened by Alexis Hall
Sam Becker loves-or, okay, likes-his job. Sure, managing a bed and bath retailer isn’t exactly glamorous, but it’s good work and he gets on well with the band of misfits who keep the store running. He could see himself being content here for the long haul. Too bad, then, that the owner is an infuriating git.
Jonathan Forest should never have hired Sam. It was a sentimental decision, and Jonathan didn’t get where he is by following his heart. Determined to set things right, Jonathan orders Sam down to London for a difficult talk…only for a panicking Sam to trip, bump his head, and maybe accidentally imply he doesn’t remember anything?
Faking amnesia seemed like a good idea when Sam was afraid he was getting sacked, but now he has to deal with the reality of Jonathan’s guilt-as well as the unsettling fact that his surly boss might have a softer side to him. There’s an unexpected freedom in getting a second shot at a first impression…but as Sam and Jonathan grow closer, can Sam really bring himself to tell the truth, or will their future be built entirely on one impulsive lie?

I’ve not actually heard much about this one online and I’m not too sure as to why. I’ve liked Alexis Hall’s books in the past so I want to give this one a go and see what I think. It is set in the same world as Boyfriend Material which has me even more intrigued to read it.
Same Time Next Year by Tessa Bailey
Adored by all, Britta is an ambitious waitress working at Sluggers. The popular bar holds a special place in her heart and is a regular hangout for the Bridgeport Bandits, the local hockey club. With a half brother on the team, Britta has a strict no-dating policy for hockey boys. But she does have a soft spot for one particular player.
A beast on the ice, Sumner Mayfield is on the brink of breaking into the NHL. But time’s running out. With his work visa about to expire, Sumner’s only chance to stay in Bridgeport is to marry an American—and get a green card. Otherwise, it’s back to Canada for the defenseman.
On New Year’s Eve, the team begs Britta to marry Sumner that very night. Sum is embarrassed yet hopeful—he’s desperately in love. But Britta balks at first. Until something about Sumner’s soulful brown eyes and ripped physique makes her reconsider…

There are very few books centred around New Year’s Eve, so I’m excited for this one especially with it being a Tessa Bailey book. This is only a novella, so I am hoping to reading this one on New Year’s Eve/Day! I think it would be the perfect book to end the year or start the new year.
Technically Yours by Denise Williams
Pearl Harris has learned the hard way to be careful in work and in love. When she is appointed acting director of OurCode, a nonprofit aimed at inspiring high schoolers to code, she has a chance to make lasting change for the organization, but a scandal has put their reputation at risk. Further complicating matters, Pearl didn’t expect the one man she hasn’t stopped thinking about in seven years to be the newest member of her board of directors.
Cord Matthews fell for Pearl when they met in an elevator seven years ago. She’s just his type: smart, capable, and makes him laugh, but when she broke his heart, he decided love wasn’t for him. After five years with no contact, their connection is immediate despite the many roadblocks in their way and Cord must consider breaking his ban on serious relationships. But going public with a romance between them might derail Pearl’s career and the progress she’s made at OurCode.
Pearl and Cord both are hesitant to trust their feelings and take a risk as they grow closer, but it becomes impossible to keep ignoring the electricity between them. Cord is a skilled programmer, but a workplace romance might spell disaster for both of them, and love isn’t easily debugged.

I’ve seen this one on Instagram a lot recently and that led to me adding it to my wish list. I own a book by Denise Williams which I’m yet to read but I’ve heard great things about. So, I thought why not add another to the list! This one sounds fun and I’m sure I’d enjoy it.
The Roommate Risk by Talia Hibbert
Romance is weakness, and Jasmine Allen doesn’t have time for either. Lifelong cynic Jas is the queen of one-night things—until a plumbing disaster screws everything up and leaves her temporarily homeless. Luckily, she has someone to turn to: her best friend Rahul.
For seven years, Rahul Khan has followed three simple rules.
- Don’t touch Jasmine if you can help it.
- Don’t look at her arse in that skirt.
- And don’t ever—ever—tell her you love her.
He should’ve added another rule: Do not, under any circumstances, let Jas move into your house.
Now Rahul is living with the friend he can’t have, and it’s decimating his control. He knows their shared dinners aren’t dates, their late-night kisses are a mistake, and the tenderness in Jasmine’s gaze is only temporary. One wrong word could send his skittish best friend running.
So why is he tempted to risk it all?

Ever since reading The Brown Sisters series I’ve been wanting to read another book by Talia Hibbert. This one has been on my radar for quite a long time but I’ve been waiting for a paperback copy to be available. Now that one is, I can’t wait to add it to my collection.

There you have it some of the books on my Christmas wish list What books have you got on your Christmas wish list? Let me know in the comments!
