Just like always I’m reading too many books, watching too much TV and listening to a lot of things. I am always intrigued by what other people are reading, watching and listening to. It is always a good way to learn more about other people and to get recommendations at the same time.
So, I started doing the ‘Currently I’m…‘ posts to share my current reads, watches and what I’m listening to with other people who are just as curious as I am. Here is what I am currently reading, watching and listening to.
Currently I’m Reading…
I wish I could stick to reading one book at once but I don’t have that skill at all. I’ve currently got a physical book, an audiobook and an eBook on the go.
The physical book I’m reading is Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood. This is Ali Hazelwood’s first YA book and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it so far. I’m looking forward to reading more of it soon and sharing my thoughts.
The audiobook I’m reading is The Wake-Up Call by Beth O’Leary. I’ve been listening to this one on my commute to work and I’m enjoying it. I don’t think it is going to be my favourite book by Beth O’Leary but I’m sure I will enjoy it still.
Finally, the eBook I’m reading is You, Again by Kate Goldbeck. I’m not too far into this one but it has been a fun read so far. I’m not sure how the rest of it will play out but I’m excited to see.
Currently I’m Listening to…
I feel like I’ve listened to the same thing non-stop since the start of the year and that is my The 1975 playlist. It has all their songs on it and it is my go-to listen.
I’ve also been listening to two podcasts this month. They are Mummy’s Boy with Arthur Hill and The Useless Hotline with George Clarke and Max Balegde. Both of these podcasts bring me a lot of joy whilst I get ready in a morning and I would highly recommend them.
Currently I’m Watching…
I’m watching a couple of things on TV at the moment. The first is the latest series of Taskmaster. We’ve watched every season and adore the whole show. I’m all up-to-date with the latest series of The Great British Bake-Off. It has not been my favourite series that they have done but I’m enjoying it all the same. Finally, we’ve been watching the latest season of What We Do in the Shadows. It is just as hilarious as the other seasons and I want the next season immediately!
