Every single year I set myself a few goals for my blogging and reading throughout the year. I always try to make them easy to achieve but also fun to work towards. Then, I enjoy looking back on them in the new year to see what I achieved. So, here are my blogging and reading goals for 2024.

Read 80 Books
I’ve upped my reading goal from 75 to 80 books this year. I read 120 books throughout 2023 but I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself to read as much as as fast as I can. If I do manage to reach the goal of 80 I can always up my goal. But, if I don’t I’d be more than happy with just 80 books in 2024.
Keep My Netgalley Ratio Above 90%
My Netgalley ratio is currently 95%. So, throughout 2024 I would like to keep it above 90% at all times. If it is possible I would love to have it hit 100% at some point throughout this year. I plan on requesting fewer books and ensure I review books on there as soon as possible.

Make Time For Re-Reads
There are so many books and series that I want to re-read soon. So, this year I want to make some time to re-read those books. They are books I know I enjoyed the first time round. So, I want to give them another read and see if I still enjoy them as much or if my opinions have changed. I just need to make time to do the re-reads.
Stick To A Blogging Schedule
I’ve made a blog plan for each month of the year for a number of years now and it has helped me massively in keeping my blogging on track. So, in 2024 I want to continue to stick to a blogging schedule. I want to plan a month in advance and then stay on track. I’m sure I can do this!
Don’t Be Afraid To DNF
For years now I’ve been too scared to DNF (did not finish) books. I’ve always felt like if I’ve paid for a book and have made a good start on the book it is wrong to DNF it. But, this year I want to learn to not be afraid to DNF books. If I’m not enjoying it then I should pick up another book which I might actually enjoy instead.

There you have it, my reading and blogging goals for 2024. What are your goals for this year? Let me know in the comments!
