I’m always looking out for new romance books to add to my TBR and there are so many new ones coming out in the remainder of 2024. So, I got looking and found 5 that I’m particularly excited about and thought it would be lovely to share them in this post. Here are 5 anticipated romance releases!

Happily Never Ever by Lynn Painter
When Sophie finds out right before getting married that she’s been cheated on (again!) it’s time for
drastic action. Instead of calling the wedding off, she hires a gorgeous stranger – Max – to interrupt the ceremony and confront her fiancé.
It’s hardly the wedding she’d planned. But Sophie enjoys taking revenge. So, when Max asks if she’ll work with him to help others expose their cheating partners, Sophie agrees.
When they’re hired by a man who’s marrying the girl that once broke Max’s heart, Sophie expects Max to revel in the job. But instead, he seems to be wrestling with his feelings for his ex. And worse than that, Sophie is jealous . . .

I’m so excited for this one! I’ve been looking forward to it ever since I read the snippet in the back of Lynn Painter’s previous novel. I have come to rely on her for some excellent romance novels and I’m sure this will be no different. It sounds like it is going to be amazing and I cannot wait to pick it up.

Late Bloomer by Mazey Eddings
Winning the lottery ruined Opal Devlin’s life. She may have been able to leave her dead-end job, but now she’s getting endlessly bombarded with people knocking at her door for a handout . . . and she can’t seem to stop saying yes.
Opal realises she has a chance to follow her own dreams, and decides to spend almost all her new money on a failing flower farm in North Carolina where she can start her painting business. But her plans for isolation soon go hopelessly awry when an angry (albeit gorgeous) Pepper Boden is waiting for her at her new farm. Pepper states that she’s the rightful owner of Thistle and Bloom Farms, and she isn’t moving out.
There’s not much else they can do except strike up an agreement of co-habitation, but they’re soon butting heads at every turn. While they each have a reason to stay, can these two opposites find a way to plant some roots? Or will their combustible arguing (and growing attraction) burn the whole place down?

This is another that I read a snippet of a few months and immediately wanted to read more of it. Mazey Eddings is another author who I’ve read a couple books by and have thoroughly enjoyed. So, I will definitely be picking this one up as soon as I see it in a shop and reading it quickly.

Daydream by Hannah Grace
When procrastination lands him in a difficult class with his least favorite professor, Henry Turner knows he’s going to have to work extra hard to survive his junior year of college. And now with his new role as ice hockey captain – which he didn’t even want – Henry absolutely cannot fail. Enter Halle Jacobs, a fellow junior who finds herself befriended by Henry when he accidentally crashes her book club.
Halle may not have the romantic pursuits of her favorite fictional leads, but she’s an academic superstar, and when she hears about Henry’s problems with his class reading material, she offers to help. But being a private tutor isn’t exactly ideal given her own studies, job and the novel she’s trying to write. New experiences are the key to beating her writer’s block, though, and Henry’s promising to be the one to give them to her.
They just need to stick to their rulebook. Oh, and not fall in love.

This is possibly my most anticipated release of this year and I cannot wait to get my hands on it. Like most other people I’ve been so excited to read Henry’s story and see more of him. I have no doubt that it was be another exceptional read and I cannot wait to pick it up.

A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston
Eileen Merriweather loves to get lost in a good happily-ever-after. The fictional kind, anyway. Because at least imaginary men don’t leave you at the altar. She feels safe in a book. At home. Which might be why she’s so set on going to her annual book club retreat this year—she needs good friends, cheap wine, and grand romantic gestures—no matter what.
But when her car unexpectedly breaks down on the way, she finds herself stranded in a quaint town that feels like it’s right out of a novel…
Because it is.

I absolutely adore Ashley Poston’s romance stories and cannot wait to have another in my hands. I love how she weaves romance and magical realism together. She does it in such a unique, exciting and gripping way. I am always surprised by her stories too. So I cannot wait to read this one and see what I think.

Just One Taste by Lizzy Dent
Olive Stone is about to spend four weeks in Italy with the most beautiful man she’s ever hated.
When Olive Stone and her Italian pseudo-celebrity chef father fell out fourteen years ago, annoyingly handsome Leo Ricci slipped right in as his surrogate son and sous-chef. No one is more surprised than Olive when her father wills her his beloved (and now failing) restaurant. Or that his dying wish was for Olive and Leo to complete his cookbook…together.
She’s determined to sell the restaurant. Leo is determined to convince her not to. As they embark on four weeks in Italy, traveling from Sicily to Tuscany to Liguria, they’ll test each other as often as they test recipes. But the more time Olive and Leo spend together the more undeniable their attraction grows. Olive finds herself wondering whether selling the restaurant might be running away, and what it might be like to try Just One Taste of Leo Ricci. Because he isn’t who she expected, and this trip might reveal more about who Olive is than she’s ready for.

I saw this one whilst looking on Bookstagram the other day and was immediately interested in it. It sounds like it is going to be absolutely perfect to read in the summer. I’ve seen so many amazing things about Lizzy Dent’s books online so I am looking forward to seeing what I think of this one.
