March has gone by quickly but also seems to have dragged at the same time. It has been hectic, at times stressful but an otherwise excellent month. I’ve spent the month on days out, with friends and even a quick weekend trip to the Lake District. Here is what happened in March!

I’ve read 5 books throughout March. It hasn’t been the best reading month but I have enjoyed the books that I’ve read. I wrote a post a couple of days ago which is full of mini reviews for the books I read in March. So, be sure to give that a read, here. Here is the shortened version of what I read in March!
- Cleopatra and Frankenstein by Coco Mellors – ★★★
- Breaks: Vol 1 by Emma Vieceli and Malin Rydén – ★★★
- At First Spite by Olivia Dade – ★★★★
- Talking at Night by Claire Daverley – ★★★★
- The Prospects by KT Hoffman – ★★★★

March has been another month full of blogging. I kept to my blog plan too. My plan really helps me to keep on top of posts and reviews and make sure I post on time. I wanted to share the top 5 posts I’ve enjoyed writing in March.
- February Book Haul!
- At First Spite – Olivia Dade
- Books I Have on Pre-Order
- Talking at Night by Claire Daverley – Quote
- Spring Book Tag!

I started the month by continuing to help my Mum and Dad with the training of their new dogs. They are settling in well and I love seeing them. One day this month was spent sat with one of them curled up on my lap whilst I did some sewing.
We had a game day with out friends this month too which is always fun. We played a few new games and I even managed to win a couple of games too!
It was quite a stressful month at work as we’ve got a new system and one of my building had to close suddenly. So, I did quite a bit of shopping to make myself feel better. I bought a lot of books (see my haul soon) and even got some concert tickets for later this year.
Myself and David went on a weekend break to the Lake District towards the end of the month. We’d not been for over 7 years even though it is so close to where we live. We went on some lovely walks with some stunning views, ate delicious tea and had an overall excellent time. We will certainly be going back soon.
I spent a lovely afternoon with one of my best friends this month. We caught up, did some book shopping, read in cafes and ended the evening by going to a book launch. It was lovely!
I had a lovely relaxing Easter weekend to end the month. It was my Grandad’s 82nd birthday so we celebrated that with some delicious food and time together. Then the rest of the weekend was spent reading and enjoying the nice weather.
March has been a lovely month and I’m looking forward to seeing what April brings!

There you have it, March is almost over. I cannot wait to see what April holds. What has March been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
