Bedtime Book Tag

Get yourself comfy with a hot drink because it is time for the Bedtime Book Tag! I saw this one over on ZeZeewithBooks whilst scrolling recently and wanted to give it a go. Here is the Bedtime Book Tag!

The most recent book that has kept me up all night reading was Little Bang by Kelly McCaughrain. It is such a captivating and heart-breaking story that I didn’t want to put down. So, I read the entirety of it as quickly as I could do and I would highly recommend it after doing just that.

I’m actually going to say The Stranded by Sarah Daniels. It didn’t stop me from sleeping but I do remember that whilst reading this I had a horrible dream where I was a character in this book. It jolted me awake and I was genuinely scared. It is a spectacular book that I’d recommend but fair warning you may dream about being in it.

When I picked up This Bird Has Flown by Susanna Hoffs last year I was expecting an amazing read. I was so let down by what it actually was which was a boring, repetitive and badly written read that made me want to go to sleep.

When The Brothers Hawthrone by Jennifer Lynn Barnes was released I remember being sat at home waiting for my pre-order to arrive. The minute it was posted through my letterbox I opened the package and started reading it. I’d been waiting for it for so long and it was incredible!

I’m going to go with the really bog-standard answer for this one and say The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I would not do well in the Hunger Games or any dystopian setting. I’d barely last a few pages in a dystopian book.

HappyHead by Josh Silver ends on such a cliffhanger and had me questioning everything! I cannot wait to pick up the sequel very soon and see what I think about it. If you’ve not read the first yet, be prepared for a cliffhanger!

There you have it, the Bedtime Book Tag! What would your answers to these questions be? Let me know in the comments below!
