Thank you to the publisher who gifted me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

As a bestselling romance novelist, everyone thinks Truly Livingston is an expert on happily-ever-afters. Except she just caught her fiancé cheating, her parents are separating and her entire view on love has been shaken to the core.
Already committed to recording a podcast sharing relationship advice, Truly hopes it will be the perfect distraction . . . until she meets her co-host. Her first impression of Colin McCory is . . . hot. But then he opens his extremely kissable mouth. Bickering with a cynical divorce lawyer is the last thing Truly needs – so she walks out, with no plans to return.
When Colin tracks her down, begging for a fresh start, she reluctantly agrees. And as they turn from enemies to friends, she discovers they have more in common than she ever imagined, including their shared queerness. With their mutual attraction reaching a fever pitch, Truly feels happy for the first time in years. Yet she can’t help but wonder . . . is Colin truly, madly, deeply in love with her? Or is it all too good to be true?

Alexandria Bellefleur is an author whose books I’d heard so many amazing things about but hadn’t had the opportunity to pick up yet. That is until, Truly, Madly, Deeply landed on my doorstep and I’m so glad that it did. It is a romantic, sweet, entertaining and steamy romance novel which I would highly recommend.

Throughout this book we follow two characters. Colin who is a realist and then Truly who is a romantic at heart. I adored Truly and all the chaos she brought to this book. She starts the book unsure about if she is good enough and we see her grow and discover more about herself as the book progresses. She is trying her best to create her own happiness and to protect herself all whilst having fun. She is excellent and I’m sure many people will relate to her.
Colin is one of those male main characters who you will instantly fall in love with. He is incredible sweet but still makes sure he gets what he wants. If you are a fan of the guy falling first you’ll love Colin. When the pair are together you can’t help but love them both. I loved watching them go from enemies-to-friends-to-lovers and seeing their banter jump off the page. They have some extremely sweet moments together as well as some incredibly steamy moments!
On the surface, this may seem like a simple romance novel but underneath it discusses quite a few serious issues. Such as, discovering and then owning your identity, divorce, family issues and more. Each is discussed in a honest and raw way. Each added a lot to the book for me without taking away from the romance.
Alexandria Bellefleur is certainly an author whose books I will be reading more of in the future. Her writing is wonderful and had me gripped the entire time. This book certainly reminds you about the power of connection and what we can get out of those connections.
Overall, Truly, Madly, Deeply is a beautiful romance book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It is heart-warming, funny and at times quite spicy. I would highly recommend giving this one a read!
