May has been a busy month that seems to have gone on forever. I’ve been to the zoo, to concerts, a wedding reception and had some lovely days with friends. Here is what happened in May!

I’ve read 5 books throughout May which is a lot less than I was hoping to read. But, that’s okay and I’m sure I’ll read more in June. I wrote a post a couple of days ago which is full of mini reviews for the books I read in May, so make sure you check that out. Here is the shortened version of what I read in May!

  • Funny Story by Emily Henry – ★★★
  • Late Bloomer by Mazey Eddings – ★★★★
  • Truly, Madly, Deeply by Alexandria Bellefleur – ★★★★
  • You Are Here by David Nicholls – ★★★★
  • A Cure for True Love by Stephanie Garber – ★★★

May has been another month full of blogging and I kept to my blog plan. Each month I pre-planned the posts I’ll be writing and sharing and it helps me to keep on top of posts and reviews and make sure I post on time. I wanted to share the top 5 posts I’ve enjoyed writing in May.

I started May by going shopping in Manchester with David to make sure we had things we needed for our holiday which is happening very soon. We ended the day there with a lovely meal in Mowgli which was delicious.

The day after myself, David, my sister Katie and her boyfriend Tom, my Grandad and Grandad all went on a trip to Chester Zoo. It was such a lovely day. We wandered around the zoo, saw some excellent animals, laughed a lot and ended the day with a lovely meal.

A few days later, me and my sister, Katie went to see The Useless Hotline Podcast live in Manchester. It was hilarious, wild and a whole bunch of fun. We did some shopping beforehand too which is always a good time. At the end of the night we even got to see the Northern Lights thanks to a solar storm.

A couple of days after that we both went to see Luke Hemmings in Manchester. He was spectacular and it was lovely to see him perform in the venue I saw 5SOS play their own first headline gig many years earlier. It was wonderful.

My best friends had their wedding reception this month too which was wonderful. We eat delicious food, played games and just had an all round lovely time!

I had a few chill days with friends this month too. We spent time catching up, watching TV and crafting together which was wonderful. I feel like everyone should have at least one chill day a month with their friends.

May has been a lovely month and I’m looking forward to seeing what June brings!
