What’s On My Netgalley TBR?

I’ve been restrained over the past month and haven’t requested any books on Netgalley. I think being on holiday has stopped me from browsing the website regularly which isn’t a bad thing. There are still a number of books on my Netgalley TBR but despite that I’ve still managed to keep my feedback ratio over 90% which I’m happy about.

I started writing these posts to show what was on my Netgalley TBR and to hold myself accountable when it comes to reading them. So, here are some of the books on my Netgalley TBR / shelf at the moment!

Charlie Milford is a betting man. As the top executive at the investment firm his dad almost ran into the ground, he has to know when to play it close to the chest and when to go all in. So, when Nova Porter proposes one night – no strings – to get their inconvenient attraction out of their systems, he does what he does best. He puts it all on the line.

Nova Porter has no explanation for her attraction to buttoned-up, boat-shoe-owning Charlie Milford. Maybe it’s his charm? Or maybe it’s his determination to help her fledgling business any way he can. Either way, she’s distracted and she needs to be focused. She’s about to expand her homegrown tattoo business and she doesn’t have time for frivolous flirtations.

Too bad her one-night solution doesn’t work out as planned. If anything, their explosive night together leaves her wanting more. And, with Charlie in town temporarily overseeing Lovelight Farms for his sister Stella, there’s no way to avoid him in the tiny neighbourhood of Inglewild. Add in a meddling small town, some close quarters and a mischievous duckling and all bets are off.

After hearing so much about this series online, I had to request the last book in the series when it went on Netgalley. I cannot wait to dive into reading this one and I’m sure it will be an excellent read. I’m looking forward to seeing how it will differ from the others in the series and I cannot wait to share my thoughts.

Welcome to Keeper Island, the private Caribbean paradise where the cocktails are chilled, the guests are not, and new manager Lola is just hoping nothing messes up her badly needed fresh start.

Her previous job in Hong Kong ended in tears – and quite a lot of blood – so she’s come to Keeper to lie low, as well as to provide the gold-star service the resort’s spoiled one-percenters expect. Her only connection to her previous life now is her old mentor and new boss, Mike Moxham.

But nothing is that simple, and no secret is truly safe forever. When Mike is found dead less than a day after her arrival on the island, the rules Lola is used to for working with the super-rich very quickly become rules to live by:

Be prepared for anything.

Trust no one.

Because she might just be next…

As soon as this one appeared on the Netgalley homepage, I knew I had to request it. It is being marketed as Bella Mackie meets Below Deck which sounds right up my street. I think this is going to be one of those thrillers that once you start you won’t be able to put down. I cannot wait to give it a read.

Georgia Woodward and Eli Mora broke up five years ago so they’re definitely over each other… right?

When they’re thrown together at their best friend’s wedding, sparks fly – quite literally when the venue burns down a week before the big day. Now, it’s up to Georgia and Eli to get everything back on track.

As they rush to put on the perfect wedding, old feelings start to resurface. And now there’s only one bed…

Jumping back in is terrifying, but this time will love be worth the risk?

This is the new releases on my Netgalley TBR that I am most excited about reading very soon. I’ve been recommending Jessica Joyce’s previous book You, With a View non-stop since reading it last year. I’m looking forward to seeing how this one will compare to her previous book. I’m sure it is going to be an amazing read.

Safiya has struggled to pick up the pieces of her family since her dad left them and moved to Somalia. She refuses to trust in love, despite wishing she could fall for boy-next-door Yusuf… And then her dad moves back to town with his new family, shattering her life all over again.

Halima doesn’t want to move to England. She resents her stepdad for dropping her in a strange new life with a new language to learn – replacing her friends with bullies who set out to shame her.

When the girls are thrown together at school, it’s hate at first sight. But as they uncover life-changing secrets from their parents’ past, they begin to realize…What if the key to all their problems lies in their sisterhood?

I was lucky enough to have the publisher send me an eARC of this one, though I would have requested it myself straight after reading the synopsis. This one sounds exceptional and as though it will be quite an emotional read. It has already been getting excellent reviews so I’m looking forward to reading it and seeing what I think.

There you have it, some of the books that are on my Netgalley shelf/TBR at the minute! What have you got on your Netgalley shelf and what are you excited to read? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Reading
