July is almost over and it has been quite a busy month. I spent a weekend away with friends, visited local markets and did quite a few crafts. Here is what happened in July!

I’ve read 6 books throughout July which is a lot less than I thought I was going to read this month. They were all a lot of fun to read, for different reasons. I wrote a post a couple of days ago which is full of mini reviews for the books I read in July. You can find that here. Any of the books with hyperlinks are one which have a full review on my blog. Here is the shortened version of what I read in July!
- Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors – ★★★★★
- A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston – ★★★★
- The Pairing by Casey McQuiston – ★★★★
- Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams – ★★★★
- Not Another Love Song by Julie Soto – ★★★★
- Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood – ★★★★

July has been another month packed full of blog posts. I’ve continued to plan and then schedule all of my posts ahead of time which I’m proud of. I’ve loved so many of the posts from July. So, I wanted to share the top 5 posts I’ve enjoyed writing and posting in July.

July started with me meeting up with one of my best friends in Manchester. We visited all the bookshops, caught up and just had a lovely time. Then, I met up with my Mum after she finished work for a lovely tea at Mowgli’s.
Days later I had a weekend with my best friends at one of their houses. We watched films, read together and played a few board games. Then I headed to my family’s house to celebrate my sister Katie’s 23rd birthday which was lovely.
I’ve had a busy few weeks at work so very much appreciated some relaxing time with David. We visited a local makers markets and just enjoyed some quality time together.
The busy few weeks at work meant I wanted to take myself on a shopping trip. I bought some new clothes, books and even a Jellycat. A few days later, me and David met up with our friends for a game of mini golf and some excellent food. It was a wonderful afternoon, even if I did lose at golf!
I have done a lot of crafts this month. In particular I’ve become quite obsessed with diamond painting. It is so easy, calm and a lot of fun. If you are looking for an easy craft I’d highly recommend it!
The last weekend of July was spent on a little weekend away with my best friends. We stayed in a barn in Eyam which was stunning and spent some time in the hot tub there. Whilst away we visited Bakewell and Buxton and even took a trip to the Eyam Plague Museum which was fascinating. It was an excellent way to end the month!
July has been another wonderful month and I’m looking forward to seeing what August brings!

There you have it, July is almost over. I cannot wait to see what August holds. What has July been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
