Something Wilder – Christina Lauren

Christina Lauren is a writing duo that I always feelI can trust to provide me with a good read. That is why I was beyond excited to read Something Wilder whilst I was on holiday. I knew it was something a little different for the pair but I didn’t realise to what extent. Let me tell you, this book blew my mind! It is unconventional and unique and it is truly exciting to devour.

My Nonidentical Twin – Evie Meg

Back in 2020, when TikTok became the new social media site, it was practically impossible to not see one of Evie’s (This Trippy Hippie) videos on there. Evie became a constant on my FYP (for you page) and her videos brought a smile to my face, educated and inspired me. So, when I learnt she was releasing a memoir I wanted to read it as soon as possible.

This Place is Still Beautiful – XiXi Tian

Despite having had near-identical upbringings, sisters Annalie and Margaret agree on only one thing: that they have nothing in common. Nineteen-year-old Margaret is driven, ambitious, and keenly aware of social justice issues. She couldn't wait to leave their oppressive small-town home and take flight in New York. Meanwhile sweet, popular, seventeen-year-old Annalie couldn't think of anything worse - she loves their town, and feels safe coasting along in its confines. That is, until she arrives home one day to find a gut-punching racial slur painted on their garage door.

Here are some of the books that are currently on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!
