22 Things to do Whilst I’m 22 – Recap
I cannot believe I turn 23 tomorrow! Last year, I wrote a post all about 22 Things to do Whilst 22. It was my way of writing a little bucket-list of things I wanted to do in my 22nd year of life. Now that my 22nd year is almost over, I wanted to look back on that post ad see if I had done everything on the list or if I hadn't. Here is my recap of 22 things to do whilst I'm 22!
September Book Haul
What should be happening with this post is it should be empty because I am on a book buying ban. But, what is actually happening with this post is there is a book haul of 7 books in total. Clearly, I am very good at staying on a book buying ban but we won't talk about that. Granted, a book I had on pre-order, I bought a couple based on wonderful reviews and I was also gifted a few books! I will highlight next to books that were gifted. So, here is my September book haul!
What Happened in September?
September has been another month of non-stop events for me and to be honest with you I am tired all the time! So, it is safe to say it has been a wild month. I've read a lot, achieved a lot and so much has happened. Here is what happened in September!

Here are all the October 2020 releases I'm excited for!
You Say it First – Katie Cotugno
Meg has her entire life set up perfectly: her boyfriend Mason is sweet and supportive, she and her best friend Emily plan to head to Cornell together this year and she even finds times to clock shifts phonbanking at a voter registration call centre in her Philadelphia suburb. But, everything changes when one of those calls connects her to a stranger from small-town Ohio, who gets under her skin from the moment he picks up the phone.
A Little Quote!
Hello all, I hope you are all doing well! Many of you know that I love designing (even if I'm not that good) and like to see what my little brain can come up with. Sometimes I do this on Canva other times I do it in the design software I have. I was messing around with the things available on Canva today and this is what I came up with! Here is my little quote poster I came up with for a quote I love from All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven!
One Italian Summer – Keris Stainton
It has been a year since Milly, Elyse and Leonie's dad died, and a year since their last trip to Rome. Summer's here again, and once again they are heading with their mum to Italy. But what is it going to be like without their Dad? Rome still hold its familiar charms, the sun is still warm, the gelato as delicious, the people as welcoming. But nothing is quite as it once was.
Heartbreak Boys – Simon James Green
At the start of the summer, Jack and Nate find themselves dumped as their respective exes, Dylan and Tariq, start up a new relationship together. Not only that, their exes start posting pictures on social media, showing the whole world how fabulous their new life together is.
