I love to recommend books to people. You never know, you could be recommending a book to someone and it becomes their new favourite read. Recommendations are how we share what books we've love. So, I wanted to share some of the books I've read recently and loved. These 5 books are ones I've given 5 stars and will be recommending for a long while! Here are 5 recent 5 star reads!
Spence and Anthony have been friends for years, but it’s only when he witnesses a classmate die in what looks like a tragic accident at a house party that a flicker in the fabric of time helps Spence ‘see’ Anthony for the first time. When Spence wakes up to the same day again and sees Clara, the girl who died, alive and well, it’s clear he’s been granted a second chance. And a third. And a fourth…

Everyone except for the prickly, proud musical prodigy Suwa, who doesn’t think Santi has what it takes to be in the band. But Santi and Suwa share painful pasts, and when they open up to each other, a tentative friendship begins. And soon, that friendship turns into something more. . . . Will their fresh start rip at the seams as Suwa seeks out a solo spotlight, and both boys come to terms with what it'll take, and what they'll have to let go, to realize their dreams?
Happy August everyone! It is the beginning of a new month which means it is book haul time! This haul consists of 10 books which is less than I expected it to be. It has books gifted from publishers and a few books I've picked up on my shopping trips in July. Here is my July book haul!
Book Lovers by Emily Henry is the perfect book to read this summer. It is full of humour, romantic moments and even some moments that will make you feel emotional. I’ve adored all of Emily Henry’s books but this one is easily my favourite of hers for so many reasons.
My name is Ellie. Ellie Pillai . . . And I suppose I am a little bit weird, but then, aren't we all, just a little bit? Most days, Ellie Pillai is somewhere between invisible, and not very cool - and usually she's okay with that. But suddenly, Ellie feels different. Maybe it's the new boy at school who makes her brain explode into rainbows every time she sees him (and also happens to be going out with her best friend), or maybe it's her new drama teacher, the one who seems to have noticed she exists.

Happy July everyone! It is time for another book haul! This haul consists of 8 books which is a more than I thought it would be. It has books gifted from publishers, pre-orders and a present for myself too. Here is my June book haul!
June is almost over and this month has absolutely flown by! I spent a lot of the month in Lanzarote and then the rest of the month relaxing and reading. Here is what happened in June!
After 3 years of waiting, me and David finally got to go on holiday to Lanzarote again. We were booked to go in 2020 but the pandemic got in the way. So, I am so glad we finally got to go back to the place that we love. We were there for 16 days and had such an amazing time. I wanted to do a little holiday recap post so that I could look back on the memories in a few years from now. So, here is my trip to Lanzarote recap!
