Where Sleeping Girls Lie – Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé

After reading Ace of Spades back in 2021, and loving it, I’ve been looking forward to another mystery book from Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé ever since. So, I had high expectations for Where Sleeping Girls Lie and it 100% lived up to these expectations. On the surface, this may seem like just another YA mystery book but it is so much more!

Happy Sunday everyone. I love nothing more on a Sunday than to cosy up under a blanket with a book. In particular, with a romance book. So, I thought it would be very fitting to do the Romance Reader book tag, which I found a little while ago. Here is the Romance Reader book tag!

So, I’m back with another book haul that consists of 17 books. It has some books kindly gifted by publishers, presents for myself and a pre-order. Here is my February book haul!

One Day by David Nicholls – Quote

After watching the Netflix adaptation of One Day by David Nicholls, I quickly picked up and read the entirety of the book that inspired it and loved it. It is such a beautiful story that I think everyone should read. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.

Proud – Various Authors (Complied by Juno Dawson)

This year it is the 5th anniversary of the Proud Anthology and it is still one of my favourites. To celebrate there has been an anniversary edition released with a brand new story and artwork. So, I wanted to re-review the entire book.
