After reading Lauren Ho’s adult novels I knew I wanted to give her YA debut a try and I’m so glad that I did. Bite Me, Royce Taslim is a heartfelt, funny and tender enemies to lovers YA novel which I thoroughly enjoyed.

We are almost half-way through 2024 which I cannot quite believe. So, I wanted to give the mid-year book freak out tag a go. I've been doing this tag for a few years now and I always love looking back on the previous years answers. So, here is the mid-year book freak out for 2024.
What’s On My Netgalley TBR?
I've been restrained over the past month and haven't requested any books on Netgalley. I think being on holiday has stopped me from browsing the website regularly which isn't a bad thing. There are still a number of books on my Netgalley TBR but despite that I’ve still managed to keep my feedback ratio over 90% which I’m happy about. I started writing these posts to show what was on my Netgalley TBR and to hold myself accountable when it comes to reading them. So, here are some of the books on my Netgalley TBR / shelf at the moment!
You Are Here by David Nicholls – Quote
I finished reading You Are Here by David Nicholls towards the end of last month and it was a stunning read. It was the perfect book to read during Spring and it was packed full of lovely quotes. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing. Here is a little image I designed for a quote from You Are Here by David Nicholls.

You Are Here – David Nicholls
After reading One Day earlier on this year and loving it, I knew I had to give his latest release a read and I’m so glad that I did. It is a beautiful story of friendship, starting again and saying goodbye to the past. It was a joy to read.
Holiday TBR – Part Two
'm currently on holiday and I'm sure when this goes live I'll have been having an amazing time. My holiday plan is to read books, relax, explore, spend time with David and in the sun. Of course, I’m taking lots of books with me. A couple of days ago I shared part one of my TBR and today I will be sharing part two. I hope I get round to reading all these books on holiday, but we shall see. Here is part two of my holiday TBR!
Holiday TBR – Part One
When this post goes live, I will be on Holiday, in my happy place, soaking up the sunshine and reading lots of books. I cannot wait to be back in Lanzarote and I've got a lot of books in my suitcase for my planned reading. I wanted to share what my TBR is for the holiday. I’ll be splitting it into two parts because there are a lot of books. Here is part one of my holiday TBR for Lanzarote!
The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber – Quote
Me and my best friend recently finished our co-read of The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber. We have been reading this series together and have enjoyed it a lot. The second book is packed full of action and some lovely quotes. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing. Here is a little image I designed for a quote from The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber.
