When this post goes live, I will be on holiday, on my Honeymoon, soaking up the sunshine and reading lots of books. I cannot wait to be back on holiday. I've got a lot of books packed in my suitcase for all my planned reading. I wanted to share what my TBR is for the holiday. I’ll be splitting it into two parts because there are quite a few books on my TBR this time. Here is part one of my holiday TBR for Lanzarote!

What Happened in May?
May has gone way too quickly and it has got me stressed! I've done so much this month, including the final bits of wedding planning, lots of walks, days out and concerts. Here is what happened in May!
What I Read in May!
May has been quite a poor reading month for me. I've read 6 books this month which is a lot less than I usually read. I struggled to find books I loved this month and ended up rating quite a lot of my reads under 3 stars. I'm still here with another what I've read this month post though. In this post, you will find a bunch of mini-reviews for the books I read in May. Here they are!
If Tomorrow Doesn’t Come – Jen St. Jude
If Tomorrow Doesn’t Come is a spectacular YA debut novel which tells of hope, pain and love. It is a beautiful book that I am so glad I had the absolute pleasure of reading.
What I Read in April!
April has been the best reading month of the year for me. I've read 12 books throughout April and loved so many of them. So, I am back with another what I've read this month post. In this post, you will find a bunch of mini-reviews of the books I read in April. Here they are!
The Love Wager – Lynn Painter
After reading all of Lynn Painter’s YA romance novels, I was excited to give one of her adult romance novels a read. The Love Wager seemed like the perfect place to give them a try. Although it is a companion novel to Mr. Wrong Number, you can definitely read this one on its own, which is what I did. I loved this book and its characters for so many reasons!
Happy Place – Emily Henry
If anyone asks for a romance book recommendation, one of the first authors I mention is Emily Henry and it is for a good reason. I’ve loved every single one of her books that I have read and her latest, Happy Place, is my new favourite book by her. It is spectacular, heart-warming and one of my favourite books I’ve read this year. I cannot recommend it enough.
My Love Life and the Apocalypse – Melissa Welliver
The minute I saw the announcement for this post-apocalyptic rom-com online, I knew I had to add it to my TBR. If you combine dystopia, humour and romance in a book, there is no doubt that I will enjoy it. So, My Love Life and the Apocalypse was the perfect combination of genres for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers – Jesse Sutanto
Jesse Sutanto’s books never fail to entertain me and have me laughing out loud. Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers is no different. This is the first cosy mystery book I’ve read by Jesse Sutanto and it was incredible! It has all the humour and heart of her romance books whilst also keeping you on edge.
Friday I’m in Love – Camryn Garrett
I first heard about Camryn Garrett’s books back in 2019 whilst at YALC. Soon after YALC, I read her debut and thoroughly enjoyed it. Because of that, I picked up her second novel, which I also enjoyed. So, of course, I had to pick up her third novel. I went into this knowing Camryn Garrett's writing style and was sure it would be a good read, which it was!
