We are nearly halfway through the year and I’ve read quite a lot of books. Some have been good, some have been alright and others have been incredible. So, I thought it would be fun to share some of the the books I’ve read so far in 2024 and would recommend. Here are some recent reads I’d recommend.

You Are Here – David Nicholls
After reading One Day earlier on this year and loving it, I knew I had to give his latest release a read and I’m so glad that I did. It is a beautiful story of friendship, starting again and saying goodbye to the past. It was a joy to read.
Holiday TBR – Part Two
'm currently on holiday and I'm sure when this goes live I'll have been having an amazing time. My holiday plan is to read books, relax, explore, spend time with David and in the sun. Of course, I’m taking lots of books with me. A couple of days ago I shared part one of my TBR and today I will be sharing part two. I hope I get round to reading all these books on holiday, but we shall see. Here is part two of my holiday TBR!
Holiday TBR – Part One
When this post goes live, I will be on Holiday, in my happy place, soaking up the sunshine and reading lots of books. I cannot wait to be back in Lanzarote and I've got a lot of books in my suitcase for my planned reading. I wanted to share what my TBR is for the holiday. I’ll be splitting it into two parts because there are a lot of books. Here is part one of my holiday TBR for Lanzarote!
The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber – Quote
Me and my best friend recently finished our co-read of The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber. We have been reading this series together and have enjoyed it a lot. The second book is packed full of action and some lovely quotes. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing. Here is a little image I designed for a quote from The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber.
The Last Ten Books Tag
I gave the last ten books tag a go last year and had a lot of fun doing it. It got me thinking and made me remember about a lot of books. So, I wanted to give it another do because me answers will have definitely changed. Here is the updated Last Ten Books tag!
May Book Haul!
Happy June everyone! I'm quite proud of myself for hauling a few less books than usual throughout May. I hauled 12 books in May. This haul has some presents for myself, pre-orders and books kindly gifted to me by publishers. Here is my May book haul!
What Happened in May?
May has been a busy month that seems to have gone on forever. I've been to the zoo, to concerts, a wedding reception and had some lovely days with friends. Here is what happened in May!
What I Read in May!
May has dragged on for so long and I don’t seem to have read that much. I’ve read 5 books throughout May which is so much less than I would have liked to read. In this post, you will find a bunch of mini-reviews for the books I read in May. Here they are!
Summer Reading Recommendations – Part Two
A couple of days ago, I shared a post with some books I would highly recommend picking up this summer (be sure to check it out here). There were too many recommendations to include in one post, so I've split it into two. So, here is part two of summer reading recommendations.
