Last year when I was on the lookout for Christmas books this one caught my eye and I’m so glad it did. If you are a fan of time-loop stories with heart-felt, heart-breaking storylines I would certainly recommend this one.

I don't know about you, but I love reading Christmas-themed books throughout the month of December. I started reading them the minute it became December this year. I was sucked into the world of Ali Hazelwood’s writing, along with a lot of people, a couple of years ago and have read everything she has released ever since. So, of course I was excited to give her YA debut a read. I thoroughly enjoyed Check & Mate and have had a desire to play chess ever since finishing it.
