Another month has come to an end! I can’t believe we are only 2 months away from 2019, this year has gone way too quick. I posted every single day in October on the blog, turned 21 and went to Disneyland. November is set to be another busy month too! So, let’s get on with what happened in October.
I read 3 books this month. 1 graphic novel and 2 novels. I was so busy this month I didn’t get the chance to read the 4 books I challenged myself to read in October. I only read one “thick” book too but I am hoping to read more next month. Here are the books I read this month:
- Be Prepared by Vera Brosgol (Graphic Novel) 4★‘s
- The Twits by Roald Dahl (Novel) 3★‘s
- What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera (Novel) 5★‘s

This month has been a busy month on the blog. I have posted on the blog every single day in October! This is the most I have posted on my blog in a long time in such a short amount of time. I am really proud of myself for keeping up with Blogtober! I am hoping this will help me keep on a schedule for the coming months. Here are my top 5 posts for October:
November Releases I’m Excited About
In Conversation with Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera
Bookish Confessions

Happy Birthday!
I am really glad that I kept my reading goal at 50. I know I will reach that and I can up it at the end of next month if I want to. I really am reading a lot more than I thought I would this year. I am currently at 5 books ahead of schedule with my reading challenge at the minute. I have read a total of 46 books this year. I now have £230 saved up, this is after putting aside £5 for every book I read this year. Me and my Mum have decided we are going to go to Barcelona with the money we have saved up from reading this year.
So much has happened in October!
First of all it was my 21st birthday! I had a lovely relaxing day with my family. We went for dinner at a lovely cafe and spent the evening taking whilst eating lovely food. I got to finish my Disney Traditions Stitch collection on my birthday. These are figurines designed by Jim Shore and I have 7 of Stitch in total and I love them all!
I also got to spend a lovely day with my best friends for my birthday. We went and played mini golf, eat cake and bought books. What more could I wish for!
I then went to Disneyland Paris for 4 days! This was my main 21st birthday present and I loved it so much! I did a few posts about Disneyland on my return home. I most certainly have Disney Blues and would love to be back there now. It is the happiest place on earth and I loved going on rides and meeting characters. Most of all I enjoyed being in the world of Disney. If you want to read more about my Disneyland trip be sure to check out my posts all about it!
Finally, I got to spend a day with all my bookish friends and interview the incredible Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli! I cannot get over the fact that this happened. They were both so lovely and are two of my favourite authors. I will never be able to comprehend that I met them both and then had the opportunity to interview them! I will be posting the interview on the blog soon!
That is all that happened in October! This has easily been the busiest month of the year for me so far! November is set to be another busy month, just not as busy as this month!
October is already over for another year! I cannot wait for November and all that it holds!
