What Happened in March?

What Happened in?

Hello! Hope you are all well and keeping safe! As we all can probably guess, I have not done a lot this month. I’ve read quite a bit though and have spent hours upon hours on Animal Crossing New Horizons! I’ve made the most of March in whatever way I could. Here is what happened in March!Line

What I Rea.jpgI can quite believe how many books I’ve read this month. This month I seemed to fly through books before hitting another reading slump. Hopefully I get out of this slump soon but I’m not complaining with the amount of books I’ve read this month! Here is what I read in March!

  • Hideous Beauty – William Hussey – 4‘s
  • And the Stars were Burning Brightly – Danielle Jawando – 4‘s
  • The Love Hypothesis – Laura Steven – 4‘s
  • The Pieces of Ourselves – Maggie Harcourt – 5‘s
  • Gender Queer – Maia Kobabe – 4‘s
  • Drama – Raina Telgemeier – 4‘s
  • Fence – C.S Pacat – 3‘s
  • The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up – Marie Kondo – 4‘s
  • Ghosts – Raina Telgemeier – 4‘sLine

March has been yet another good blogging month for me. I have managed to stick to my blog planning again. I plan my blog posts for the month toward the end of the previous month and change and add to it when I think of something else or something comes up. Here are my top 5 posts for March!

Personal Update.jpg

This month certainly started a lot different to how that it ended. The very first day of March was spent at Brockholes Nature Reserve with David. We read, we played on our Nintendo Switch and ate food. It was wonderful!

The next thing that happened in March, I spent a weekend in London with my wonderful best friends Sarah and Sophie. We went to some book events, we went book shopping and we even watched Waitress the Musical. It was such a lovely weekend and I wrote an entire post all about it which you can find here!

After that, lockdown happened. I have spent the rest of the month in my house, only going out for a short walk and to work but that is it. I’ve read books and I’ve played hours upon hours on Animal Crossing.

Although the things I did have planned for the rest of the month like NYA Lit Fest, a couple of concerts and some days out have had to be cancelled, it is for the best. I am doing all I can to keep myself and those around me safe and plan to continue doing so.

Look after yourselves and stay safe and let us see what April holds for us. Let’s hope it is better than March!
