Library Book Haul!

Library Book HaulHello all! Hope you are keeping well and safe. Before all libraries were closed due to the lockdown, I took full advantage of working in one and loaned out over 20 books. I got quite a range from graphic novels to YA to non-fiction and thrillers. I thought I would share the books I hauled! So here is my pre-lockdown library book haul!LineGraphic Novels

My library had a huge delivery of graphic novels a couple of days before lockdown and I took full advantage of this. I’m so glad that I did because I am in a little bit of a slump and graphic novels seem to be the only thing I am enjoying reading at the moment. The graphic novels I got were:

  • Rain by Mary M Talbot and Bryan Talbot
  • Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson
  • The Baby-Sitters Club Volume 1 by Raina Telgemeier
  • Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
  • Hollow City by Ransom Riggs
  • Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe
  • Fence Volume 2 by C.S Pacat
  • Lumberjanes Volume 2 by Noelle Stevenson
  • Paper Girls Volume 1-3 by Brian K. Vaughan
  • Blue is the Warmest Color by Julie Maroh

Novels

We also had quite a large delivery of novels to my library before lockdown, some being new others being replacement copies of books that have been out for a while. I cannot wait to get round to reading these ones! The novels I got were:

  • Juliet Takes a Breath by Gabby Rivera
  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  • Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson
  • The Map from Here to There by Emery Lord
  • Dry by Neal Shusterman
  • You by Caroline Kepnes
  • Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes
  • This Train is Being Held by Ismée Amiel Williams
  • Ziggy, Stardust and Me by James Brandon

Non-Fiction

I only got a couple of non-fiction books out but there are ones I have been recommended and have wanted to read for a long time. The non-fiction books I got were:

  • Reasons to Stay Alive by Matt Haig
  • Queer, There and Everywhere by Sarah Prager

All the Books!

So, in total I hauled a total of 22 books from the library which is quite mad! I cannot wait to read them all and share my thoughts! Have you read any of these books? If so, let me know your thoughts in the comments!
