New year means new goals. I bet you are so fed up of people saying that already, but I always set myself goals for my reading and blogging each year and I wanted to share them with you. Today, I wanted to talk about my blogging goals for the year ahead. Here are my 2021 blogging goals.

Try New Things with Blogging

This year I really want to try out some new things on my blog. I would love to talk a bit more about lifestyle events and other things that I have interest in. At the moment all I seem to talk about on this blog is books. I know this is a book blog and it will always be mainly talking about books.
I’d like to change that this year as I would really like to put more lifestyle and other interesting things in-between all of the book content. I don’t want to put people off my blog by doing this but I at least want to give it a go.
Use all Social Media Platforms to their Full Potential

I have a love hate relationship with social media. Some days I adore it and use it a lot, other days I cannot stand it and don’t want to go on any of it. This year I want to use all the social media platforms to their full potential but know my limits whilst doing so.
I want to be so organised that I can schedule tweets and Instagram posts but also keep on top of any notifications and things that are happening on each platform. I finally want to get into Pinterest and give that a try. Also, alongside this I want to set limits and know my limits with social media. As useful of a tool that it is, it is really important to remember you don’t have to be on there all the time!
Host / Run a Book Event

This was a goal back in 2020 but due to the pandemic and everything going on in the world it was basically impossible. I know that this one probably won’t happen until later on in 2021 but I still want to set this as a goal.
Remember when we could go to book clubs or sit at a book event with more the 6 people? Well, this year I would love to host or run a book event. I would love to host an event to celebrate the release of an authors book. I would also love to finally run the YA book club at my library. Hopefully, 2021 will be the year of the return of in-person book events.

Have you set yourself any goals for 2021? Let me know in the comments!
Good luck with your goals! I agree with you on using social media – I’m trying to use it more too this year, we’ll see how it goes! 😊

Good luck with your goals!
I hope you get to run/host an event, I hosted a blogging workshop a few years ago and it was excellent fun.

These are great goals! I also want to use all my social media platforms to their fullest potential, especially Pinterest. I did a lot with it this year, and I could see how helpful it was. So I want to keep going with that!
