It is the last day of 2020 (FINALLY!). I cannot believe that tomorrow we will finally be in 2021. This past year has both flown by but also dragged in such an awful way. Despite the terrible things the year has thrown at us all I though it would be entertaining to look back on all my 'What Happened in?' posts of 2020 and see what happened throughout 2020. Here is what happened in 2020!
Quinton Peters was the golden boy of the Rosewood low-income housing projects, receiving full scholarship offers to two different Ivy League schools. When he mysteriously goes missing, his little sister, 13-year-old Amari Peters, can’t understand why it’s not a bigger deal. Why isn’t his story all over the news? And why do the police automatically assume he was into something illegal?
The final month of 2020 is almost over and I'm both happy and sad about it! I've loved this month and it has been one of my favourite of 2020 but I am also excited for 2020 to end and finally be in a new year. Here is what happened in December!
How is it 2021 in just a few days? This year has dragged on but also gone quickly, it has been a strange old year. Throughout December I read a total of 6 books which isn't as many books as I've read in previous months this year. So, I am back with another what I read this month posts! I have a lot of thoughts I want to share on the books that I read in December. So, here is a little post full of mini reviews for the books I read in December!
Merry Christmas everyone! Just a quick little post to say Merry Christmas to you all and I hope you all have a wonderful day. If you celebrate Christmas or the festive period have a lovely day, I hope it can be as wonderful as normal despite what the year has brought! If you don't celebrate Christmas or the festive period, still have the best day and look after yourselves! Have a wonderful day!
Kyle and Kimberly have been the perfect couple all through high school, but when Kimberly breaks up with him on the night of their graduation party, Kyle’s entire world upends—literally. Their car crashes and when he awakes, he has a brain injury. Kimberly is dead. And no one in his life could possibly understand.
At the start of the year I made two blog posts. One contained my blogging goals for the year and the other contained my reading goals for the year. These goals have motivated me throughout the year and I want to see and talk about how I've gone on with them. I plan on setting some new goals in 2021 but, for now here is a recap of my 2020 goals!
We aren't too far away from 2021 and for the last few years I've done a wrap-up in numbers. It is a little bit of a tag post but it is also quite a fun thing for me to look back on at the end of next year to see how my reading has changed. Here is my year in numbers (as of 19/12/20)!
Ever since Margot was born, it’s been just her and her mother. No answers to Margot’s questions about what came before. No history to hold on to. No relative to speak of. Just the two of them, stuck in their run-down apartment, struggling to get along.
A couple of days ago I share some of the new books being released in January 2021 that I am excited about. I love finding out all about new books being released and getting excited to see them out in the world!
