March Book Haul!

Book Haul

I’m back again with another book haul and this is quite a big one. February was a good month for my bank account but March not so much! My March haul for 2021 consists of 12 books in total!

There are a couple of pre-orders in this haul but it also consists of quite a few books that I bought myself as a treat or ones I have been gifted in exchange for an honest review. I will mark next to any books that have been gifted within this post. Here is my March book haul!

March started with a couple of pre-orders dropping through my letterbox! Those books were my copies of, As Far As You’ll Take Me by Phil Stamper which I have read already and throughly enjoyed. This came alongside my copy of Yolk by Mary H. K. Choi which I also throughly enjoyed and finally Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert which is a pure joy to read!

I got some very exciting news at the start of the month. That news was that I would be starting a new job in May as a Library Manager, so, of course that called for some book buying! I treat myself to copies of, My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell and Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo first as these are books I’ve been wanting to read for a while.

Then I treat myself to copies of The Girls I’ve Been by Tess Sharpe which is a spectacular book that I cannot recommend enought, It’s Not Like It’s a Secret by Misa Sugiura, Hot British Boyfriend by Kristy Boyce and Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan. I think I may have gone overboard when it came to treating myself for getting a job but I was very excited and got shopping happy. Oops!

Throughout the month I was surprised with some wonderful book mail from a number of publishers! Usborne sent me a copy of The Infinity Files by S.M. Wilson which I absolutely adored. Stripes / Little Tiger sent me a copy of Agent Zaiba Investigates: The Haunted House by Annabelle Sami which I am so excited to read very soon. Finally, Harper 360 sent me a copy of the much anticipated Pumpkin by Julie Murphy. I will be reading this very soon!

Overall, I ended the month with 12 more physical books than I started the month with! I’ve read 6 of the 12 so far which I am quite pleased with. I have some pre-orders arriving in April and I cannot wait to read them!
