I do not quite understand how we are already into the 4th month of 2021. I’ve had some exciting news this month, I’ve read a lot and had some well needed time off work. Throughout all that I’ve tried my best to always stay positive. Here is what happened in March!

I read a total of 10 books throughout March which is a lot more than I thought I would read this month. I have been in and out of a reading slump for a while and spent a lot of time this month just wanted to watch TV shows and films or listen to music. But, this is always okay, sometimes we just do not want to read. I wrote a post a couple of days ago that goes into detail, with little reviews, about what I read in March, so be sure to check that out. Here is the shortened version of what I read in March!
- The Sad Ghost Club by Liza Meddings – ★★★★
- Rent a Boyfriend by Gloria Chao – ★★★★
- The World Between Us by Sarah Ann Juckes – ★★★★
- As Far As You’ll Take Me by Phil Stamper – ★★★★
- The Infinity Files by S.M. Wilson – ★★★★
- The Boyband Murder Mystery by Ava Eldred – ★★★★
- Yolk by Mary H.K Choi – ★★★★
- What Beauty There Is by Cory Anderson – ★★★★
- Hot British Boyfriend by Kristy Boyce – ★★★
- The Girls I’ve Been Before – ★★★★

Blogging is like a form of relaxation for me. It is so therapeutic for me to just sit in front of computer and type up my thoughts with an audiobook or TV series on in the background. Throughout March, I stuck to my blogging plan and wrote my posts as early as possible which left me with a lot of time at the end of the month to get thinking of posts for April. I thought I would share the 5 posts I enjoyed writing the most from this month. Here are my top 5 posts for March!
- Books I Have on Pre-Order! – Part One
- Books I Have on Pre-Order! – Part Two
- New Book Releases I’m Excited For – April
- February Book Haul!
- The Secret Life of a Book Blogger Tag!

I have spent most of March either reading, watching TV or going on walks. I’ve had a lot of time of work for what was meant to be a ‘holiday’ but in reality I spent the time sat at home relaxing and having some well needed rest.
I have watched a lot of TV thing month. I have watched the entirety of The Fosters on Disney+ which let to me watching the spin-off Good Trouble. Both of which I throughly enjoyed. Then, because I had seen so much hype for the show on Twitter I decided to give Line of Duty a go from the beginning and I cannot believe how incredible this show is!
Once again, I spent a lot of time this month on video calls to my family and friends. They were the mood boost that I really needed. I am really missing my family and friends at the minute so being able to talk to them through a screen for a few hours each week really brings a smile to my face.
Finally, this month I got some very exciting news! At the start of May I will be starting a new job. This job will be as a Library Manager and I cannot wait to start. I am so excited for a new role and the opportunities that it will bring. Libraries are my home and I am so glad I get to stay in them and progress with my career at the same time!
Bring on April!

That is it, March is over. I cannot wait to see what April holds. What has March been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!

I hope you have an awesome April!

You had a pretty good reading month in March 🙂
I took a couple days off work to rest too, being stuck inside for a year is exhausting.
