How in the world is it about to be May! This year is flying by. In April, I’ve read a lot, spent time with family and friends and I am in the process of moving jobs. Here is what happened in April!

I have read a total of 10 books throughout April which is actually less that I thought I would read in a month where I wanted to read non-stop. I wrote a post a couple of days ago that goes into detail, with little reviews, about what I read in April, so be sure to check that out! Here is the shortened version of what I read in April!
- Cherry by Nico Walker – ★★★★
- This Can Never Not Be Real by Serena Milano – ★★★★★
- Kisses and Croissants by Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau – ★★★★
- The Disasters by M.K. England – ★★★
- Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron – ★★★
- An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green – ★★★★
- The Road Trip by Beth O’Leary – ★★★★
- Kate in Waiting by Becky Albertalli – ★★★★★
- Tokyo Ever After by Emiko Jean – ★★★★★
- Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes – ★★★★

There is something I just love about sitting in front of my laptop and writing down my thoughts in the form of blog posts. Throughout April, I stuck to my blogging plan that I had made at the start of the month and got thinking about posts for May. I thought I would share the 5 posts that I enjoyed writing the most in April. Here are my top 5 posts for April!
- What Beauty There Is – Cory Anderson
- Kisses and Croissants – Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau
- March Book Haul!
- 5 Audiobooks Worth Listening To!
- Currently I’m…

April has been quite a lovely month. I celebrated Easter Sunday in my back garden with my family and we even did an easter egg hunt which was a lot of fun. I’ve spent time with my friends, catching up and just having the best time. And, I went into a bookstore for the first time in 6 months and it was wonderful!
I have watched a number of TV shows this month. I have watched all of Line of Duty and I am now watching it live and cannot cope with the stress. I am also on top of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier show which is incredible. I haven’t watched as much this month and I think this is because I have spent time doing things with people who I’ve missed.
This month has been exciting on a nature front. The nest box that me and David hung at the back of our house has Blue Tits nesting it in! They have been in and out of the nest box throughout the month and it has been so lovely to watch. I love birds so having bird nest right at the back of my house where I can watch them whilst at my kitchen table is amazing.
Finally, at the end of the month I finished by job as a Library Assistant ready for the move to a new library services as a Library Manager at the start of May. I am excited for my new job but nervous at the same time. I’ll keep you updated on my new job in next months update!
Bring on May!

That is it, April is over. I cannot wait to see what May holds. What has April been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
