What Happened in September?

September is almost over and I cannot believe how quickly 2022 is flying by. It has been another busy month of reading, concerts, shopping and cinema trips. Here is what happened in September!

I read a total of 11 books throughout September and enjoyed reading all of them. There are some that enjoyed more than others but is has been another amazing reading month. I wrote a post a couple of days ago, that goes into detail, with mini reviews, about what I read in September. So, be sure to check that out. Here is the shortened version of what I read in September!

  • The Honeys by Ryan La Sala – ★★★
  • Meet Cute Diary by Emery Lee – ★★★★
  • Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid – ★★★★★
  • Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren – ★★★★
  • Nothing More to Tell by Karen M. McManus – ★★★★
  • The Final Gambit by Jennifer Lynn Barnes – ★★★★
  • The Past and Other Things That Should Stay Buried by Shaun David Hutchinson – ★★★★
  • Meet Me in Mumbai by Sabina Khan – ★★★★★
  • The Taking of Jake Livingston by Ryan Douglass – ★★★
  • The Anomaly by Hervé Le Tellier – ★★★★
  • Things I Know by Helena Close – ★★★★

September has been yet another month full of blogging. I am still posting every couple of days and have been planning my posts ahead of time. So, I wanted to share the 5 posts that I enjoyed writing the most throughout September.

We started out September by visiting some venues for our wedding reception. We are having a small wedding so it is weirdly difficult to find a venue that isn’t too big and is happy to host a small wedding. At the end of September we confirmed our wedding reception venue and cannot wait!

My entire family had a lovely meal together to celebrate our Nana and Grandad’s 60th wedding anniversary which was amazing as well. It was actually in the venue that we are having our wedding reception so it was lovely to see if all set up.

I saw George Ezra in Manchester this month. It was the third time I’ve seen him live and he was once again spectacular. The only issue is, the minute a concert ends I want to be at another one immediately.

I did some autumn crafts this month too. I saw online how to make your own little pumpkin decorations with a styrofoam ball, some yarn and a cinnamon stick. I spent a lovely afternoon watching movies and making my own little pumpkins. I would highly recommend it as a nice autumn craft.

I planned and then hosted the official opening of the brand new library I have the absolute joy of managing. It had a ribbon cutting, cake, refreshments and speeches. It was a lovely day and I’m so glad to see the library officially open.

Me and my sister went to watch Don’t Worry Darling in cinema on opening day. I have to say, despite being sceptical, I enjoyed it. It certainly isn’t perfect but I left the cinema feeling entertained and would have been happy to watch it again.

September was a lovely month and I’m looking forward to seeing what October brings!

That is it, September is over. I cannot wait to see what October holds. What has September been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
