Happy October everyone! It is the start of another new month, which means it is book haul time. This haul consists of 12 books. It has some books gifted by publishers, pre-orders and some I’ve picked up on shopping trips. Here is my September book haul!

At the start of the month I took myself on a little bit of a shopping trip and ended up spending two hours in Waterstones. Somehow, I managed to only leave with two books. I picked up Husband Material by Alexis Hall as I loved the first book in this series and want to see what happens next. Also, The Marriage Game by Sara Desai. I have seen a lot about this series and cannot wait to give it a read.
I had a few pre-orders arrive this month too. Timberdark by Darren Charlton arrived and I cannot wait to read it. Bonus, it has absolutely stunning sprayed edges. Nothing More to Tell by Karen M. McManus arrived and I read it immediately. It isn’t my favourite book by her but I throughly enjoyed it. The American Roommate Experiment by Elena Armas is one that I pre-ordered so long ago I forgot it was arriving. I’m hoping to read this one very soon. Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood is in the haul picture but that actually arrived last month so ignore that one!
Throughout the month I picked up a few books on my shopping trips or online as little treats for myself. One of these was Meet Me in Mumbai by Sabina Khan which completely blew me away and I cannot recommend it enough. Also, The Anomaly by Hervé Le Tellier which I read very soon after buying and loved it. It is such a unique book. I picked up Dating Dr. Dil by Nisha Sharma as I have seen a lot of good things about it and it was only £3. Finally, I picked up The Dating Plan by Sara Desai as I am impulsive and think I’ll love this entire series.
I was incredibly lucky to be gifted a few books this month by lovely publishers. Little Brown Books sent me a copy of Angelika Frankenstein Makes Her Match by Sally Thorne which I cannot wait to read as it sounds excellent. Macmillian sent me a couple of books this month which I cannot wait to read. They sent me She Drives Me Crazy by Kelly Quindlen which has been on my wishlist for ages. Also, Ophelia After All by Raquel Marie which sounds incredible.
So, I ended the month with 12 more books than I began it with. Thank you so much to the publishers who gifted me some of the books included in this haul!

What books did you get in September and what books are you excited for in October? Let me know in the comments!

Dating Dr. Dil is so good! I loved it! I also got The American Roommate Experiment as well 🙂
