What’s On My Netgalley TBR?

Over the past month my Netgalley TBR has had some more amazing books added to it. I couldn’t stop myself from requesting a few books that caught my eye and adding them to my TBR. I started writing these posts each month to help me to see my Netgalley TBR and hold me accountable when I haven’t read them on time. Here are some of the books that are currently on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!

One Christmas Morning by Rachel Greenlaw

The moment Eva locked eyes with James over a library bookshelf, she knew she’d found her soulmate. Over ten years, they fell in love, got married and made plans to start a family. Until everything changed one Christmas three years ago, and they’ve been drifting apart ever since.

Eva hopes a friend’s Christmas party at an old manor house in Cornwall will give them the chance to reconnect… but the last thing she expects is to wake up on Christmas morning in the body of a different guest. As Eva’s forced to keep reliving Christmas Day from the perspectives of those closest to her, she realises just how much her life has fallen off track.

But can Eva break the cycle and save her future with James, before it’s too late?

I requested this one after getting through my Christmas TBR way quicker than I thought I would. I’m so glad I did because it is going to be the perfect book to read this Christmas. It is one that covers some quite hard-hitting topics but has said to still feel lovely and festive. I cannot wait to read this one and share my thoughts.

She is Haunting by Trang Thanh Tran

Jade Nguyen has always lied to fit in. She’s straight enough, Vietnamese enough, American enough – at least for this summer with her estranged father in Vietnam. Just five weeks of ignoring the quietly decaying French colonial house he’s fixing up, then college and freedom are hers.

But soon Jade begins waking up every morning certain that something has clawed down her throat … from the inside. Then the ghost of a beautiful bride visits her with a cryptic warning: DON’T EAT.

When her father and little sister don’t believe her, Jade decides to scare them into leaving by staging some haunting events of her own. She recruits Florence, the daughter of her dad’s business associate (and more of a distraction than Jade bargained for) to help.

But the house has other plans. It’s hungry. A home, after all, is only as powerful as those who breathe new life into its bones. And this one is determined never to be abandoned again …

The cover of this one is what originally attracted me to wanting to read it. Then, I read the synopsis and that it was perfect for fans of Rory Power, I knew I had to give it a read. I’m always a fan of romantic ghost stories so I am really looking forward to seeing what this one will be like and sharing my thoughts.

A Million to One by Adiba Jaigirdar

Four friends have stolen aboard the Titanic. They’re after the Rubaiyat – a book inlaid with priceless jewels. Josefa is a charismatic thief, Hinnah a daring acrobat, Violet an outstanding actress and Emilie a talented artist.

It is Josefa’s plan, but she needs all of their skills. Despite their very different backgrounds, in a world of first-class passengers and suspicious crew members, the girls must work together to pull off the heist of their lives.

But careless mistakes, old grudges and new romances threaten to jeopardise everything they’ve worked towards. And with the Titanic sailing ever further north, the girls’ chances of survival are a million to one…

A heist story aboard a famous ship? Yes please! I adore Adiba Jaigirdar’s writing so as soon as I found out she would be releasing a heist story I was beyond intrigued. This one sounds like it is going to be a truly thrilling read that I won’t be able to put down and I cannot wait to share my thoughts on it.

Six Times We Almost Kissed (And One Time We Did) by Tess Sharpe

Six fun facts about PENNY and TATE:

1. They’ve known each other their whole lives
2. Their moms are best friends
3. They are DEFINITELY NOT friends
4. They keep almost kissing
5. They don’t talk about it
6. Thanks to their moms, they’re moving in together …

But when an almost-kiss goes from almost to I am now wearing your lip gloss, Penny and Tate have no choice but to finally face the music … right?

I read The Girls I’ve Been by Tess Sharpe a few years ago and I loved it. I’m so excited to read another book by her and especially as this one is a slow-burn, will they won’t they romance! I will be picking this one up very soon as I am sure I will love it!
