I adore doing book tags! They are fun, easy-to-read and you can find out a lot from them. The questions are always fun and really get you thinking about your answers. So, when I saw the 5 4 3 2 1 book tag on Zezee with Books I wanted to give it a go immediately. Here is the 5 4 3 2 1 book tag
5 Books You Love
I have so many books that I love and have loved reading over the years. This selection of my top 5 books could change as quickly as next week but as things stand these are my favourites at the moment. They are all up there as books I’ve loved for different reasons and if you haven’t read them yet, I cannot recommend them enough!
4 Auto-Buy Authors
I have so many more than 4 auto-buy authors at this point! Some authors just captivate me with their books immediately and I can’t help but want to buy all their book immediately. If I had to pick just four authors they would be:
- Taylor Jenkins Reid
- Fredrik Backman
- Emily Henry
- Rachel Lynn Solomon
3 Favourite Genres
For this one, I’ve look at the 3 genres I read most on my StoryGraph stats. I always feel like I read a lot of genres but the reality is I don’t. I like to stick to what I know best and know I will enjoy which is, Romance, Contemporary and Young Adult.
2 Places You Read
The most common places you’ll find me reading are my couch in the living room. I spend most of my evenings reading in front of the TV and it is blissful. Or, the other place is my back garden. The moment that the weather starts getting warm, I take every opportunity I can to read outside in my garden. I love watching the birds, listening to the trees and just being outside.
1 Book You Promise to Read Soon
I’m going to say the book that has been on my TBR the longest. That is Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. I always say I am going to read it and then another year goes by where I haven’t so much as read the first line. So, I am promising that by the end of 2023 I will have at least given this book a go!
