Over the last couple of months, I have fallen out of love with TV. Nothing has been grabbing my attention or sparking my interest like it used to. So, I decided to spend some time browsing the streaming sites and found some TV shows I’d like to try and watch soon. Here they are!
Never Have I Ever – Netflix
After a traumatic year, a first-generation Indian-American teenager wants to improve her status at school, but friends, family, and feelings don’t make it easy on her.
I’ve seen so much about this series but have never actually watched more than a couple of episodes. Now that the final series has been released, I think it would be the perfect show to binge watch. It seems like it is going to be fun to watch, so I hope to start it soon.
The Summer I Turned Pretty – Amazon Prime
A girl is caught in a love triangle between two brothers as she deals with her first love and first heartbreak during the perfect summer.
I’m even more excited to watch the seconds series of this show after reading the second book in the series whilst on holiday! It is the perfect show for the summer and has an incredible cast. I’m looking forward to seeing how this series differs to the book too.
XOXO Kitty – Netflix
Kitty, the youngest of the Covey sisters, embarks on a quest to find true love.
I actually started this one a while back but haven’t sat down to finish it off completely yet. I am enjoying it and want to finish it off very soon. Especially as it has been picked up for a second series. I love that it is a spinoff to the To All the Boys series and its lovely to see more of Kitty!
Heartstopper – Netflix
Teens Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love.
I’m so excited for a second series of Heartstopper! The first series brought the book to life perfectly and I’m sure this series will do just the same. I’m looking forward to seeing how the Paris scenes will play out and to meet the new characters. I can’t wait!
Secret Invasion – Disney+
Nick Fury learns of a secret invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls; Fury joins his allies, and together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
I’ve been excited about this one for such a long time but have decided to wait until all of the episodes are out so that I can binge watch the series. I’ve managed to avoid spoilers for it so far and I’m not too sure what to expect but I’m excited to give it a watch.

I binged XO Kitty last month and loved it. I’m really excited for Heartstopper season 2 I wish August 3rd would hurry up and get here. It’s a movie and not a TV Show but I’m really excited for the Red, White & Royal Blue adaptation coming in August as well.
