April has been quite a busy month and I can’t believe it is May in a couple of days. I’ve been to concerts, on a lot of walks, to the zoo and watched my best friend get married. Here is what happened in April!

I’ve read 10 books throughout April. It has been a better reading month than March but I would have like to have read more but I literally did not have the time. I wrote a post a couple of days ago which is full of mini reviews for the books I read in April, so make sure you check that out. Here is the shortened version of what I read in April!
- The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber – ★★★
- A Botanical Daughter by Noah Medlock – ★★★★
- Soulmates and Other Ways to Die by Melissa Welliver – ★★★★
- You’d Look Better as a Ghost by Joanna Wallace – ★★★★
- The Good, the Bad and the Aunties by Jessee Sutanto – ★★★★
- The Other Side of Disappearing by Kate Clayborn – ★★★★
- The Murder After the Night Before by Katy Brent – ★★★★
- Snapdragon by Kat Leyn – ★★★★★
- If You’ll Have Me by Eunnie – ★★★★
- The Girl from the Sea by Molly Knox Ostertag – ★★★★

April has been another month full of blogging. I kept to my blog plan too. My plan really helps me to keep on top of posts and reviews and make sure I post on time. I wanted to share the top 5 posts I’ve enjoyed writing in April.
- Soulmates and Other Ways to Die – Melissa Welliver
- March Book Haul!
- Books Recently Added to my Wish List
- Books I Want to Read (but Don’t Want to Read) Tag
- The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary – Quote

I stared the month with a lovely day out with my best friends. We visited Leeds, went in a load of bookshops, crafted in cafes and ate some delicious food. It was so lovely to catch up with them and have a lovely time together.
Me and my sister, Katie, went to see Declan McKenna in Manchester and he was incredible. We had amazing views and he is excellent live. I will definitely be getting tickets for whenever he tours next. It was wonderful!
A few days later me and my best friend surprised our other best friend with a meal out ahead of her wedding. She thought she was going out for a meal with one person and then when she arrived at the restaurant the pair of us were sat there to surprise her. It was such a lovely evening and made us excited for the wedding.
We had a game day with our friends this month too which is always fun. We played a few games, caught up and just had a lovely time.
Me and David took a trip to the local zoo this month. It was part of our wedding present from my work which made it even lovelier. We wandered round the zoo all day, feed the lorikeets and just had a lovely time. We ended that day by meeting my Grandma and Grandad for tea which was lovely too.
I started going on more walks again this month and it made me realise how much I missed doing it whilst the weather was bad and it was dark earlier. Walking really helps clear my head and I get to see a lot of nature which is always fun.
I ended the month watching my best friend get married and it was a beautiful day. It was so wonderful to see her get married and just spend the day celebrating her and her husband. It was a joy!
April has been a lovely month and I’m looking forward to seeing what May brings!

There you have it, April is almost over. I cannot wait to see what May holds. What has April been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
