Recent Reads I’d Recommend!
I've read a lot of exceptional books recently and I cannot stop thinking about some of them. So, I thought it would be fun to share some of the books I’ve read recently and would highly recommend. Here are some recent reads I’d recommend.
A Novel Love Story – Ashley Poston
Ashley Poston’s previous two romance novels have been some of my all-time favourite books. There were both the perfect combination of adorable romance, captivating characters and a magical realism twist. So, of course I was excited to read another romance by her as soon as I could. A Novel Love Story is a magical romance made for book people. I loved the characters, the setting was charming and I loved the romance. It may not have lived up to the other the author’s other two romance novels in my opinion but it was still exceptional.
Currently I’m…
I have a lot of envy for people who can stick to reading one book at a time, watching one series at once and listening to one album at one. I'm someone who always has multiple of each on-the-go. I’m always intrigued by what other people are reading, watching and listening to. I think that it is a very good way to learn more about other people and to get recommendations at the same time. So, I started doing the ‘Currently I’m…‘ posts to share my current reads, watches and what I’m listening to with other people who are just as curious as I am. Here is what I am currently reading, watching and listening to.
Mid-Year Book Freak Out – 2024
We are almost half-way through 2024 which I cannot quite believe. So, I wanted to give the mid-year book freak out tag a go. I've been doing this tag for a few years now and I always love looking back on the previous years answers. So, here is the mid-year book freak out for 2024.

May has been a busy month that seems to have gone on forever. I've been to the zoo, to concerts, a wedding reception and had some lovely days with friends. Here is what happened in May!

ASAP – Axie Oh
After reading XOXO back in 2021, I’ve been waiting for another contemporary romance by Axie Oh. ASAP was exactly what I had been waiting for. Even better, its main characters are characters we meet in XOXO. I had a lot of fun reading it!
What Happened in December?
December is almost over and there are only a few days of 2023 left. This year has gone by way too quickly. The last month of the year has been busy with shopping, Christmas, birthdays and days out. Here is what happened in December!
Icebreaker by Hannah Grace – Quote
I finished reading Icebreaker by Hannah Grace a couple of days ago and I loved it so much more than I thought I would. It was a sweet, fast-paced and fun read which had some lovely quotes throughout. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing. Here is a little image I designed for a quote from Icebreaker by Hannah Grace.
