Happy May everyone! I've done it again and hauled way more books than I expected to throughout the month. I hauled 21 books in April. This haul has some presents for myself, pre-orders and books kindly gifted to me by publishers. Here is my April book haul!

What Happened in April?
April has been quite a busy month and I can't believe it is May in a couple of days. I've been to concerts, on a lot of walks, to the zoo and watched my best friend get married. Here is what happened in April!
What I Read in April!
April has been such a busy month for me and I feel like I've had very little reading time. But, I've read 10 books throughout April which is more than I thought I'd read. In this post, you will find a bunch of mini-reviews for the books I read in April. Here they are!
The Other Side of Disappearing – Kate Clayborn
Do you ever have an author whose books you hear so many amazing things about but haven’t picked any up yet. Kate Clayborn was that author for me and I’m so glad I finally picked up a book by her as she is certainly an author I’ll be read more from. The Other Side of Disappearing is a heart-warming, inspirational and enchanting story. It is about love, loss and new beginnings and it was a wonderful read I would highly recommend.
The Good, the Bad and the Aunties – Jesse Sutanto
This is the the third and final book in the Aunties series which is a series that I’ve found a lot of comfort in reading over the last couple of years. I knew I was going to be in for a wild ride when reading this book. That is exactly what I got and it was wonderful.
The Prospects – K. T. Hoffman
The Prospects is a LGBTQ+ sports romance novel that is heart-warming, full of hope and brings a lot of joy. I don’t usually pick up sports romances but I’m so glad I picked this one up because I cannot recommend it enough.
Soulmates and Other Ways to Die – Melissa Welliver
After reading Melissa Welliver’s previous novel last year, and loving it, I’ve been excited to read another from her. So, I was so excited to pick this one up as soon as I could. Soulmates and Other Ways to Die is an action-packed, thrilling and unique YA dystopian novel that I thoroughly enjoyed!
At First Spite – Olivia Dade
Prior to reading At First Spite, it had been a while since I last picked up an Olivia Dade book and I won’t be leaving it that long ever again. This was an absolute joy to read. It is an enemies-to-lovers, small-town romance story which I would highly recommend.
