The final month of 2020 is almost over and I’m both happy and sad about it! I’ve loved this month and it has been one of my favourite of 2020 but I am also excited for 2020 to end and finally be in a new year. Here is what happened in December!

I’ve read a grand total of 12 book throughout December (so far)! I managed to reach my Goodreads reading goal of 125 books throughout 2020 but I am currently at 128 whilst writing this and I’m hoping to read 130 before the year ends. I did write a post a couple of days ago that goes into detail, with little reviews, about what I read in December, so be sure to check that out! Here is a shortened version of what I read in December!
- Strange Planet by Nathan W. Pyle – ★★★★
- Super Fake Love Song by David Yoon – ★★★
- Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn – ★★★★
- Here the Whole Time by Vitor Martins – ★★★★★
- Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power – ★★★★
- The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn – ★★★★
- Dancing at the Pity Party by Tyler Feder – ★★★★
- Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston – ★★★★

I’m still loving blogging a lot and I am throughly enjoying creating content. I have once again stuck to my blogging plan and have written all my posts quite far in advance. I love being in the routine of scheduling posts early and knowing that I have content going out regularly on my blog. I thought I would share the 5 posts I liked the most from this month. Here are my top 5 posts for December!
- The Cousins – Karen M. McManus
- November Book Haul!
- New Book Releases I’m Excited For – January – Part 2!
- Here the Whole Time – Vitor Martins
- 2020 Goals Recap!

December has been one of my favourite months of 2020. Not a lot has happened this month but that is potentially why it has been one of my favourites. I wore a Christmas Jumper every day of December and I loved it. It was my way of feeling festive especially whilst I was working.
David and I moved back into our house this month and finally got settled back in our own home again. We have a brand new kitchen which we love and we also have so many ideas about what to do with the rest of the house hopefully in the new year.
December is the month of both my Mum and Dad’s birthdays. Even though we couldn’t do what we had originally planned we still did a little bit of something and I throughly enjoyed it.
This Christmas was the first ever Christmas that me and David spent completely together. We’ve only ever seen each other for a couple of hours on Christmas since we got together over 5 years ago but this year we spent the entire day just the two of us enjoying the festivities. I loved not having to leave the house and spending the day makeup free! We opened presents, watched films and eat some excellent food. I loved this Christmas. I cannot wait for New Years and the festivities that that brings. December has been lovely!

That’s it December is over. I cannot wait to see what January holds! What has December been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
