January Book Haul!

Book Haul

How I manage to get so many books in one month I have no idea. My first book haul of 2021 consists of 8 books in total.

Most of this book haul consists of my January pre-orders but I also got gifted a book and ordered myself a surprise! Here is my January book haul!

January started off with a couple of pre-orders dropping through my letterbox. Those books were my copies of, Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power which I read an eARC of in December and loved. As well as a copy of one of my most anticipated releases of this year, Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas. I read Concrete Rose within a couple of days of it arriving and it absolutely blew me away.

Just before Christmas I won a competition for a copy of Gut Feelings by C.G. Moore (gifted). The evening I came home to see if had arrived I started and finished it within a couple of hours. This book is extraordinary and I would highly recommend it!

Another set of pre-orders arrived in the middle of January. They included Last One to Die by Cynthia Murphy and Forever Ends on Friday by Justin A. Reynolds. Since getting them I have read them both and loved them both! I’ll be posting a full review for Forever Ends on Friday so look out for that!

I bought myself a surprise book off my wishlist this month and that was You Owe Me a Murder by Eileen Cook. I’ve had this on my wishlist for ages now so I am really excited to give this one a read very soon!

Towards the end of the month another of my most anticipated releases arrived. It was A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer. As I write this I am over halfway through the book and I cannot tell you how much I love this series. The last book that arrived through my door this month was Here the Whole Time by Vitor Martins which I read back in December and adored due to how cute it is!

Overall, I ended the month with 8 more physical books that I started the month with! On a positive note though I have read all of them bar one which is incredible. I’ve got a few pre-orders arriving in February and I cannot wait to read them!
