I am always on the look out for new things to request on Netgalley, which means my Netgalley TBR is never-ending. I love talking about the books that I am excited about reading as it makes me even more excited to read them. There have been so many amazing books on my Netgalley shelf over the years and it is a place that I’ve found so many new authors and books. Here is what is new on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!

Loveboat Reunion by Abilgail Hing Wen

SPOILER ALERT – This is the synopsis for the second book in a series skip this book to avoid spoilers.
It’s a classic tale of girl-meets-boy, boy-meets-other-girl, heart-gets-broken, revenge-is-plotted, everything-blows-up. Spectacularly.
At least they’re friends now. They’ve left the drama behind them back in Taipei—at their summer program, Loveboat—forever.
Now fall is here, and it’s time to focus on what really matters. Sophie is determined to be the best student Dartmouth’s ever had. Forget finding the right guy to make her dreams come true—Sophie is going to make her future happen for herself. Xavier, on the other hand, just wants to stay under his overbearing father’s radar, collect his trust fund when he turns eighteen, and concentrate on what makes him happy, for the first time ever.
But the world doesn’t seem to want Sophie and Xavier to succeed. Sophie’s college professor thinks her first major project is “too feminine.” Xavier’s father gives him an ultimatum: finish high school or be cut off from his inheritance.
I adored the first book in this series. It was adorable and an incredibly enjoyable read. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next with Sophie and Xavier and see where their relationship goes. I cannot wait to read this one!

Love & Other Disasters by Anita Kelly

Recently divorced and on the verge of bankruptcy, Dahlia Woodson is ready to reinvent herself on the popular reality competition show Chef’s Special. Too bad the first memorable move she makes is falling flat on her face, sending fish tacos flying—not quite the fresh start she was hoping for. Still, she’s focused on winning, until she meets someone she might want a future with more than she needs the prize money.
After announcing their pronouns on national television, London Parker has enough on their mind without worrying about the klutzy competitor stationed in front of them. They’re there to prove the trolls—including a fellow contestant and their dad—wrong, and falling in love was never part of the plan.
As London and Dahlia get closer, reality starts to fall away. Goodbye, guilt about divorce, anxiety about uncertain futures, and stress from transphobia. Hello, hilarious shenanigans on set, wedding crashing, and spontaneous dips into the Pacific. But as the finale draws near, Dahlia and London’s steamy relationship starts to feel the heat both in and outside the kitchen—and they must figure out if they have the right ingredients for a happily ever after.
A baking competition that has a romance story at its heart? Yes please! I’ve been seeing some incredibly reviews for this book which is making me even more excited to give it a read. I’m sure I’ll be picking this up when I am in the need for a light-hearted fun romance book!

I fell in love with Beth O’Leary’s writing when I first read The Flat Share. Now that her fourth book is about to be released I cannot wait to see where her next story goes. She always write hilarious and heart-warming books and I am sure that this one will be no different. I cannot wait to read it!

Here’s to Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera

SPOILER ALERT – This is the synopsis for the second book in a series skip this book to avoid spoilers.
Ben has spent his first year of college working on his fantasy manuscript with his writing partner Mario, who is a great Spanish tutor, and an even better kisser. So why can’t he stop thinking about the fact that Arthur’s back in town two years after they called it quits?
Arthur is in New York for a dream internship on Broadway, with a boyfriend back at home that he couldn’t be happier with. But when he comes upon Ben cuddled up with a mystery boy, he starts to wonder if his feelings for Ben ever truly went away.
Even as the boys try to focus on their futures, they can’t seem to help running into each other in the present. Is the universe forcing them to question if they’re actually meant to be?
Possibly not. After all, things didn’t work the first time around. Possibly yes. After all, the sparks are still flying.
Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and raise a glass.
I cannot wait to see what Ben and Arthur get up to next. I’m intrigued to see what happens with them after the break-up in the first book and if they will reconnect or not. Either way I am excited to see Becky and Adam collaborate again because it is always fun!
