Happy Halloween! It is the last day of October and this month seems to have flown by. It has been another busy month. I turned 25, went to a concert, did some shopping and even had a few days away. Here is what happened in October!

- The Birthday Book Tag!

At the start of October, David and me went on a little trip away to celebrate my 25th birthday. We went to Whitby first. It is such a stunning place and one I would love to revisit. On my birthday we actually saw a seal whilst walking down the pier in Whitby and it followed us on our walk which was amazing.
Then, we went to York for a couple of days. I’ve been wanting to go to the York Ghost Merchants for a long time now so it was lovely to finally get to visit the shop. I picked up 4 ghosts whilst there and I’m sure I will be revisiting in the future.
I did a lot of wedding dress shopping this month too. It was so overwhelming at first as someone who doesn’t often wear dresses. I have got the hang of it now and after getting an idea of the style I want, have found the perfect dress!
I took myself on a shopping trip this month after a stressful and hectic day at work. It was lovely to take myself around the shops, buy a couple of things and just switch off fo a couple of hours. It is the perfect self-care activity for myself.
Me and my Mum went to Liverpool for the Taylor Jenkins Reid even this month. It was amazing to hear my faovurite author talk about her books and her characters. I went back to Liverpool the following week for the BookTok Mini-Fest. It was lovely to see so many book people and I’d love more things like that in the future.
Me, my sister and her boyfriend went to see Thomas Headon at the end of the month. We saw him last year so it was lovely to see him again! He was fabulous as always.
October was a lovely month and I’m looking forward to seeing what November brings!

That is it, October is over. I cannot wait to see what November holds. What has October been like for you and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
