I feel like it has been ages since I last did a book tag. I love doing them so thought why not give another one I go. So, I thought ‘The Last Book I…’ tag which I found on bookforager would be a perfect one to try. Here it is!

Last Book I Bought
I bought myself a copy of Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi about a week ago and read it in a day. It is an excellent book and I’ll be sure to pick up the next in the series.
Last Book I Borrowed
I borrowed The Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels by Janice Hallett from the library about a week ago too. I read it immediately and it was extraordinary. I’m looking forward to reading more books by Janice Hallett in the future.
Last Book I Was Gifted
The lovely publishers Rock the Boat sent me a copy of HappyHead by Josh Silver. I’m looking forward to reading this one very soon and sharing my thoughts.
Last Book I Gave to Someone Else
I gave my Mum a copy of A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman. It is one of my favourite books so when she asked for a recommendation, I gave her a copy immediately! She read it soon after and loved it just as much as me.
Last Book I Started
It would have to be Begin Again by Emma Lord. I started the just yesterday and I’m hoping to read it very soon. I’ve heard excellent things about it so I am excited about giving it a read.
Last Book I Finished
It was The Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels by Janice Hallett. I couldn’t put it down and when I had to put it down it was all I could think about. I understand why so many people love her books and I’ll definitely be picking up more by her.
Last Book I Rated 5 Stars
Six Times We Almost Kissed (And One Time We Did) by Tess Sharpe. This book is excellent and had me hooked immediately. Tess Sharpe is a magnificent author whose books I cannot recommend enough.

There you have it, the Last Book I… tag! What is the last book that you read? Let me know in the comments!

I’ve had several books on the go at once but the last book I finished was Wolf Signs by Vivian Arend. I really enjoyed it despite it being such a short read.

I hadn’t heard of it until recently. Someone recommended it to me as a short book to help me read 28 books in 28 days.
